@1Cammyb ok thanks yeah the amla pomade is my new staple as far as greasing my scalp. The honey/olive h. balm and the amla/olive heavy cream was a waste of money. talk about a grease monkey / crunchy hair :(
You should try the shine and define by Oyin Handmade. I love that one for braid/twist outs. The whipped pudding is more of a moisturizer than a curl definer.
I've really been wondering if i should just make my own stuff. i live in houston and we have so many little mom and pop, middle eastern, asian, and african herb shops that sells all of these ingredients for next to nothing. if they just put honey and vit e and some aloe in a jar. than why can't i? why are these people charging like 30 for a small jar that cost 5 to make?
I understand where your coming from. I truly don't feel I have the energy to be a mixtress. Alot of these natural ingredients in Whole Foods and little mom and pop shops add up. I'm pretty sure I can copy all of Qhemet Biologics Ingredients down to a T but I'm also sure I'll be paying alot more than $20 . If you can do it without breaking the bank then I say go for it! Lol send me some too while your at it (lol---joking...kinda)
well i'm going to try that yogurt & coconut cream deep conditioner everyone is raving about. I hope the ants won't carry me away... If i get up the nerve to put together my own products i'll ship some your way. Hopefully our hair won't all fall out. lol
Thx for the review. I use oyin's deoderant, but I never used their hair products aside from the greg juice (like a leave in spray). This was very helpful, thx again. Blessings! :)
You are too funny but thanks for the honesty. I've had a bunch of trial sizes of practically everything in the Qhemet line sitting in my cart for about a week. I'll probably still try but decided to look at some more reviews before doing so. Right now in no hurry to try anything new since I've already got products my hairs seems to enjoy.
I bought 2 products from them and i barely use them. I know i bought the amla heavy cream. I may dig them out again and try. Actually i bought 3 things and stuff is too expensive to waste (lol). Thanks for such a great review! I love that you are real honest too! Take care and oh, i sent you a friend invite. Can't believe i hadn't before and we been talking so much :)
Lmao....your too sweet. Thank you so much. I try not to come on here and BS arounds. I wish you well on your big chop (if you plan on doing it in the near future) and appreciate you watching my videos.
Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous, I like the little clips you did with it, I am thoroughly wanting to chop my hair pretty soon! And you are so beautiful too!! Your videos have been my most favorite to watch because you are to the point and informative and, no offense to some other people, but you don't drag on. Very cute earings and makeup as well!
Hey CammyB! Girl, you are too funny!!! Thanks for giving a REAL product review. You were so on the money. I have to co-sign on everything you said, especially Qhem's Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm...LOVE it! It's the only product I use from that line. Great job!
The heavy cream works well for some and not others. I really hoped I would like it but it didn't suit me at all. I could see the Honeybush tea gel working well on twist.
I love the amlay and heavy olive cream, and I actually use the honeybush tea gel in conjunction with it to do two strand twist. It makes my hair and my sons hair really soft. But your right there isn't any hold.
Thanks for a quick and honest review of products. Take Care.

did you try the burdock root cream?

@nikknikk19 : No I haven't. The only two items I'd gladly repurchase is the kakhardy hair mist, and amla pomade.

maybe you should try the burdock root cream it's supposed to be lighter and water based instead of oil based like the amla & olive.
