  • i use to fight the amy that would come to kill you to test my army to see how good they were they would get harder every time lol!!

  • gg my friend :)

  • I like your model of building houses. I will burrow this style if you dont mind :}

The beginning of the game rages me out though.

  • 2:25, wtf is on the road?

  • Nice video. Plz look my video, search Caesar 3 Lutetia, you will be impressed!

  • You use cheats?

  • @hermosotealonso there are some cheats but i dont think he did. what makes you think that ?

  • hey wat is the effect of oracle?

  • @mastardchief it makes all gods happy, and... well it looks nice cause its in marble :P

  • Bloody hell, really impressive. I don't have the patience or slightest clue where to start with this. I forgot all the rules and basics :/

  • @AJPuk then start the campaign again :P all is very well eplained at the beggining and srly, give you some time and you'll become good at this :D (i hadnt touched it for years and when i came back well... i had lost some of my skills but i was still rly good at this)

  • how can i dload the game?? torrentz are also ok

  • those natives are not so strong in the battle

  • For players who have hard time playing this game: When the game begins, turn the gamespeed to 10%. Build a large housed area near a food source. Make sure you have : Water, Little food, Prefects, Engineers, Doctors and a Market. Also a statue for each god. Then settle the importance of workers : Religion, Prefects, Engineers, Water, Food. Populate that area(It must be big enough to have enough people to supply itself) Turn gamespeed to 10% and build areas for each trading goods.

  • It doesn't matter where these trading goods areas locate. You can have weapons on the other end of the map and wine on the other. Furniture on the far end and pottery the other. Just build a 1 2x2 place to "populate" the areas. It's enough. Open the trade routes and "Centralize" all the goods youre trading. If your warehouses are constantly empty, keep increasing the production of each good till they they either get half full or stuck. After that start thinking about your own people.

  • Delete ya building on their land, get missions up near them & they leave the remaining structures alone. You gotta be quick tho

  • i just spam towers

  • kurde a ja niemoge tego przejść;/ wie ktoś jak to zroibić?

  • Wait, How did you stop the Carthaginians from wrecking EVERYTHING you build at the beginning of the level???

  • spread mission posts in the city and if they stop destructing ur city restruct them and start ur legions

  • @biigzen Slow the game speed down and build missions near their houses to placate them. Don't try to engage them in endless warfare; it just burns up resources.

  • I've begin using a different set of housing blocks. By using 6x14 blocks in desert maps and 6x18 in central/northern provinces you get more space for your buildings, i rarely need to stack buildings to reach the cultural goals :-) And you may stack more people in less space and use less space for gardens/statues. The blocks easily evolves to Medium Insulae, as is sufficient for most of the plebeian blocks

  • btw the best way of dealing with carthaginians in this game is to have six javelin legions - the elephants and infantry die before they even touch them (though make sure you attack first - it works because carthaginian armies are really slow)

  • I reached this level and i use a nice tactic to defeat the incoming enemy legions with 2 javelin legions, its hit and run, then regroup, but the last time they came from the closest point to the city and i was unable to reach it in time....

  • wtf was that sound at 5:44?

  • disease i think.. either that people getting thrown out of the house

  • Move available raw materials or finished products from elsewhere to here so that walkers don't need to travel far to collect them.

  • what does "getting goods" mean

  • can you build arenas

  • yes

  • If it was a multiplayer strategy it would be so cool!!! Making diplomacy and war and trades I wish they could do it :(

  • Currently I believe only Zeus has diplomacy and war via the world map. Though I rarely use them...

  • Congratz.

  • lol the horn goen off every two seconds.

Ever survived Romes attack three times?

  • A great game i still play it and enjoy every second

  • you need a lot of prefectures in this hot countries btw...

  • a long long time ago

  • I played this game until my eyer were bleeding

  • yes ;) worth it

  • Its still good!

  • absolutely ;)

  • I found this game realllyyy hard. Couldnt make it past the 3rd map. !

  • takes some patience and practice

  • Caesar III is awesome, I played Carthago yesterday again, first time after years, and got badly thrashed by the Carthagian troops, after restarting the game, my tactic was to build large walls to the south and north with tower next to tower, the Carthagians didn´t even reach my legions anymore, and then it was very easy to finish the round :)

  • nice ;)

  • And, in instead of using Options to Game Speed adjusts simply press ] and [.

  • Hey, me again, Do you prefer making the towers and all the stuff when you see that the enemy are near or at the map start?

  • How can I win in this map of Caesar III? I'm doing the campain

  • How to reach prosperity rating of more than 30? I've build fountains, plazas, gardens, facilities, upgrade houses, etc but I barely make it pass 20-30

  • Check the empire ratings for hints, either your city is losing money or some of your houses are not high-end enough. A tent housing anywhere on the map will force the prosperity to stay below a certain level.

  • oic, thx :)

  • I recently dug out this game in the basement and it is great fun. Though, I've lost my old manual. Can you tell me what is the purpose of Oracles besides desireability? Will it function as an all-in-one temple and keep all gods happy?

  • Oracle don't supply a priest walker to satisfy religion needs of the houses. Oracle give a positive rating to please all the gods and keep them happy whereas a shrine/temple provide rating only to that one god. Don't build temples... waste of space, money and marble.

  • I've noticed n all three of your caesar 3 videos that you have warehouses that store raw materials. What's the point? Much more efficient to have htem go directly from the source to the workshop. Even if it is to sell them, the profit usually is not even worth the time/workers/space.

  • i think depends on the rate of production, and in his case it is better to sell

i wonder if he tried the other way before, and realized it is worth selling them at the end
