The main problem with this movie is that they tried to make it TOO 3-d. Almost every shot was arranged in ways to allow it to be more three dimensional, at the expense of an actually good movie.

If they had shot it as JUST a movie, with some 3d effects thrown in whenever it was effective, it would have become immersive rather than distracting.
