  • I have a senegal 2. his name is kiko He's 8 years now and the cutest thing ever. But I don't even know if its a boy of a girl. The under feathers r yellow but doesn't have a bigger beak than than this one. Its like an in between I guess??!!

  • Why are they soo expensive?

  • Awww.. I have one that 15 years old now had him since I was 14 years old.Just love how they can live with you for such a long time.

  • do you know the sex of this bird

  • how much was this parrot?

  • I have one thats 3 months old and he is just as cute

  • They are such beautiful birds.

  • your sennie is cute too!! by the way. You have two of them?? wow!! lovely!! bye, Ellen

  • they are so cute but they seem shy do they talk???

  • i have a senegal Named comett hes very cuddly and wants to play, but when i see these other senegals playing and rolling around, it makes me think there is somthing wrong with him, he won chew on toys like all the other birds he will chew on Cork wood and his food of couse but and also he doesnt really move around his cage a bunch he is my most loved thing in the world and i jus twant to know if i hsould be warried or is he just picky?

Thanks i would REALLY like a response.

  • Birds have personalities just like humans. If her beak is not overgrown, not chewing on things should not be a problem. Try to give your bird lots of do to keep them active, it is possible she is overweight if she does not move alot.

  • Nope, he is just as skinny as this one

  • Get that bird imped immediatly. Clipping a bird that young will have serious consequences.

  • that's nuts

  • i have a senegal parrot. He is very cuddly and talkative but i would like to know if ny1 can give me an accurate discription of the subspecies as i have lots of senegals that are quite different. i am told the subspecies are the yellow bellied and the orange bellied but i would like more info!

  • look for the book African Senegals on amazon it's tell you all about the senegals

  • also, she lovesbeing tipped up aswell. if you have a senegal, please tell me - DOES HE/SHE TALK? mine doesent, and iwant her to, but she does make cute little chirping noises. and do your senegals have little yellow tufts at the top of their wings? mine does. we was going to call her angel, because they look ike little angel wings.

  • I have a senegal parrot called coco who in answer 2 ur question does talk. she was about 1 wen she started talking she is now 2. males r believed 2 be able 2 talk better than females. his vocabulary is limited he only says Hello! Bye Bye! HelloCoco! and a few other small phrases.

  • mine is loud. she is abeni (ah-bean-ee, its an african girls name, it means we asked for her, and we recieved her) she is our little baby alright, but as i said, she is loud, she screams sometimes (all the time) but we love her.

  • Aww she's so adorable and cute, I have one just like her at home named Chiquita. I named her that because she loves eating bananas. Also most senegals (including mine) will allow you to turn them over on their backs and pet them. Birds are my favorite animal! <3

  • Both your birds are charming. You obviously are a good birdie mom, too. Joyce & Miss Zach Senegal in NJ

  • They are among the quieter birds. I bet it loves those wind chimes.

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please see my video clip on a parrot animation and some Victorian trading cards of exotic birds such as parrots, paradise bird, toucan, humming bird etc.
