I have put quilting in my bucket list because I find it extremely complicated but I stumbled upon your great tutorials and what a GEM - you have managed to show the easy way of cutting and piecing which had always intimidated me. I am so excited I want to try and follow your tutorials but just the easy ones. Thank you so much for inspiring me. BTW, I love the quilt on the wall behind you and together with Conniekristen I would like to know if there is a tutorial on that and what's it called?

@SarahMSQC All the tutorials are just so lovely I want to do all of them -surprise, surprise (even if I have not try my hand on quilting). Have been looking at your fabulous fabrics and gone crazy putting them in my cart and unfortunately, have to put some back - you know why LOL!!! Might take a while to complete a quilt but persevere I must to tick it off my bucket list!!! Wish me luck.

Off topic of video but about a quilt "pattern"

When I was a girl my grandma made a quilt with "Holly Hobbie" type doll siloettes (spelling). Do you know of the pattern and perhaps where one could be made? I would love one...

I loved it! What a perfect gift to give my friend who is having a baby girl in 03/2012! How many jelly rolls did you use for the baby quilt you made and what fabric did you use for the backing? Can't wait to do one! Thank you so much for sharing.

@smmccall1 I used 1 jelly roll by Riley Blake called Alphabet soup. There are only 15 strips in that jelly roll so it doesn't take very many to make that. For the back, i believe it was 1.5 yards. But that depends on how big your quilt is when you finish it.

@kristena710 Depending on the size of your borders...at least 2 jelly rolls....maybe 3. Because of the seams I am not sure how big it will end up....That will be beautiful in a big bed quilt!

I love it so much, I needed a backing for a star quilt, so I used the left over material, and made a 20 inch block of the material left, and made this block I love it so my daughter will have a double sided quilt, Ive only finished 2 blocks so far, thanks so much for your tutorials and thanks to the 3 Dudes

I live in Texas, but I attend an annual quilting retreat in Phoenix that is held right across the street from 3 Dudes. They have a GREAT shop. Everyone should go visit their shop and buy lots of stuff. *s* Great guys. Thanks for posting this tutorial. Nice.
