  • Hardcore you know the score. Pump pump it up some.

  • Absolute belter of a tune! Remember it from my astoria days. Thanks for that matey!

  • Slammin Vinyl No. 7 ripped the start of this (by the note) and speeded it up in 1994.

    Still a tune this.

  • @elephant7619

Why would you want to speed this up?

This is the pace of things at the time.Remix it,speed it up,kiss my arsehole.

All the proper party people were getting into house by 94,wearing the clobber and banging charlie.

What you got nowadays? Lady fucking GaGa .

  • OMG, what a fucking tune... I know its a mashup of the landord etc. etc. but I don't care. It was just one of those seminal tracks of the time that everyone used to get up and dance to when it came on.

Early ninties were the best times for raving / hardcore (in the UK), no holds barred - the scene was in its infancy, and there weren't too many idiots around to spoil it. Sadly it didn't last; the music, people and drugs all turned a bit crap, but we have the memories..

  • fuckin bring on the disco biscuits

  • DU DUM DUM DUM MANY THANKSSSSSSSSSSSS

    to MUSIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

  • Reserection 1992 was his best set ever..none of d new crap he plays will never top it.. old skool rules!

  • rolling bassline that wil never die........ got me jumping in 90......

  • HEADBANGER!!!! that beats crazy hot.

  • @TheLilrunningbear def, cert records go for a lot of cash if its a original press.

  • Bleedin deadly..

  • Look on discogs, anywhere between 40 and 70 quid depending on it's condition. you could say an original pressing is rather sort after.

  • wow ..... sooo old school... nice !

    I am getting *older*

  • this is frankie bones.. bass kickin beats..1989...carl fkkin cocks had the fkkin cheeek to put his name to it .

  • My God, this is the reason Youtube is so good. Great memories of this tune

  • this tune blew me away 16 years ago still does the same thing now !!! no one makes music like this any more just think how lucky we were back then !! LE LE LE LETS DO IT ...........

  • The piano riff you mention is not actually a piano sound at all.

  • Do you happen to know originis of it? I've been led to beleive it's a specific piano chord that's been messed about with.

  • It's Landlord - I Like It

  • I know that mate, What I meant was the actual composition of that particular oldskool stab 'The landlord stab' as it's known throughout the breakbeat hardcore circle. What was used to create that sound... not where it has been taken from is what the burning question is. Was it a piano used to make that sound or was some type of synth sound?

  • The artist behind Landlord is on YT under the name theleeproject. You could ask him yourself

  • Yes mate, my white label had Landlord written on it.

  • frankie bones

  • rage 91.

this came on and blew my head off.

  • spot on old skool;;;

  • original is landlord / i like it

  • yo smallz even know who did the original?

  • this track was wicked with most of the tracks from all 5 bones breaks albums...cant remember the name an cant be assed goin thru them now but 1 of the tracks had the same breakbeat. :>

  • Without a doubt one of the hardest tunes of the old skool story.

  • Nah mate its THE fuckin hardest

    luv and peace

  • Quality oldskool!!!!!

  • This has to be one of the top 5 tunes ever made. Someone should remix this for 2009. Deserves a wider audience.

  • Carl Cox actually did a techno sorta version in about 2004 !! Cant find it on here though?

  • this isit1!!! HEe done it well before 2004..mayby more like 92. Learn ya tunes ffs.

  • Nah man you misunderstood, this is the 1991 version, someone said he should do a 2009 mix. I was mearly saying he did another mix of this techno style in 2004ish !! I know all about this tune mate its the 1991 mix!!

  • All time classic in my neck of the woods. Stirred the pot nicely.

  • Anyone got a good mp3 of this?

  • ive owned this track on white label for 16 years and never knew it was by Carl Cox!Does anybody know if it is worth anything?

  • Goddamn right its worth something. Absolute classic on a white label no less? Well done.

  • We need productions like this to come back into play - the music scene today is so messed up!

  • we need a recession in music, drop the bpm to 150 never let anyone produce over that threshold.jungle, techno, happy hcore,nu skool breakz-which dosent anyway, and you could ez pzy have your scene again bro,now get on YOUR soapbox...
