As you can see it's the truth! You know Epic considers UT and UT GOTY the Unreal Tournament 1, UT2003 and UT2004 are Unreal Tournament 2 and the new version will be the third Series so the name Unreal Tournament 3
Yes it is ;) GOTY and 99 are one engine, Ut2k3 and 2k4 are another engine (and essentially the same game but for a few grapical and sound changes plus vehicles) and UT3 is the brand spanking new engine which has been the host to many a good game so far, most notably Gears of War and Bioshock
its kind of silly that ut3 hasn't even used its own engine but those other games have. there are to be many more using its engine as well; for example that bourne game coming out.

Wait a minute. Who's calling it Unreal Tournament 3? It isn't even the third one. Its the 4th: Original UT, UT2003, UT2004, and UT2007
