Actually...CNN has done a decent job of staying impartial. They are still showing mroe of Israel's side but they have had some Hammas spokesmen and some independant journalists who side with Hammas over Israel. They also stated on one program (Reliable Sources i think) that it was Israel that broke the ceasfire. So from what i have seen from CNN...i am not 100% dissappointed by the coverage.

Hamas shouldnt have fired over 10,000 rockets/mortars into Israel over the past 10 years, and Israel wouldnt of had a reason to retaliate, this whole conflict is the fault of Hamas, Hamas dosnt care about Palestinians, if Hamas cared for the lives of Palestinians, then Hamas would quit firing rockets into Israel from Palestine/gaza strip.

Defending itself you say.. on this link you will find a list of dead children on BOTH sides starting with 2000 to 2008 (so far) as an example during the months of Oct-Dec 2000, there were 90 Palestinian kids killed, and not one Israeli. It is very difficult to understand why the US supports them. I believe it stems from two things. One, the Us has supported Israel right from its creation so there is a lot of history between the two. Second, Hammas is deemed a terrorist organization and no politician wants to be caught saying anything close to "the terrorists are right"

Actually...CNN has done a decent job of staying impartial. They are still showing mroe of Israel's side but they have had some Hammas spokesmen and some independant journalists who side with Hammas over Israel. They also stated on one program (Reliable Sources i think) that it was Israel that broke the ceasfire. So from what i have seen from CNN...i am not 100% dissappointed by the coverage.

I would like to note that Hammas was not firing rockets until Israel broke the ceasefire that Jimmy Carter helped create between the two on the date said above. Also self-defense or not Israel has no right to target a UN school or UN trucks carrying humanitarian aid. I have no sympathy for them after seeing the facts on how they have conducted this offensive.
