The game is on-rails shooter. Deal with it assholes. I love this game and the other two Resident Evil.

the only thing i don't like about the game is how all the player can do is point and shoot, it doesn't let you move on your own, the game moves for you. i like having the freedom to turn dark corners and run into monsters and scare the crap out of myself....=(

Wth dude? Did you even play it all the way through? The game starts off slow but it really picks up after about the 4th level. The compelling storyline is the best part of the game which kept me playing. For an 'on rail shooter' DSE is a lot more strategic due to dismemberment so it's hardly simple compared to HoTD or RE. Also, the graphics are some of the best on the Wii. Looks very close to the original. The game is even better if you've played the original DS as you understand the story more.

i think nintendo are progressing in there games although this is a remake of the original game i have to say it looks fucking brilliant as i said there progressing in there games with some pretty good ones such as other rail shooters like resident evil umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles and with also with a rpg coming out on wii! which is called monster hunter 3 btw that also looks brilliant so nintendo are looking good for the future.

this game is actually really good definetly worth buying or renting

i agree there are no scares but the atmosphere set is really chilling (not trying to spoil to much) but there can be scenes where your watching a video from your visor then suddenly it cuts to another video where a friend you have just killed starts talking to you then cuts back to the original video

I left the Gametrailer's review with the feeling of Rental...I feel that this review has a clearer perspective of what this game is. Rail shooter typically can be finished in an hour. This is a plump Rail Shooter.
