Hey man I just got this card, and I'm not gething any results with the s-video , is the s-video working any more with new drivers, I need to wach movies on my tv.

Has the bootup problem with the Nvidia prop. drivers been fixed? You know, the prob. that messed up the entire Boot when installing the prop. drivers? I think it was a very strange decision to include the experimental Open Source driver and making Plymouth work only for that.

Why doesn't my 10.04 boot in 10 seconds? It usually takes 20 seconds for me. Is there something I can do to make it even faster?

@xinnianhao Are you using an SSD?

@xinnianhao - It all depends on your hardware really (ie computer specs: cpu and ram mostly, but also harddisk too). If you have a modern computer it should be much quicker than if you have an older computer. Also, 10 seconds was their target time for 10.04. Whether they actually achieved that I do not know.

@postmanpat261: on my system Lucid final boots to login screen in 18 + 11 seconds to desktop, whereas 9.10 was 28 + 12.
