  • hey guys i am selling my winchester 70-270 for around 1,000 dollars i havent shot it and it is in rely good condition message me if you want details

  • I have a video of us KILLING A PAPER TARGET. We didn't eat it but... The rifle is damn sharp! Check it out.

  • the new FN winchester model 70 rifles have the cheap MOA trigger in them... they simply are not of the overall quality of the classics made in the new haven ct plant... I have seen them side by side... I will not by an FN model 70... I find a few new haven classics here and there and buy them when i can. I can not share your enthusiasm for the FN model 70s unfortunately.

  • How much does this riflecost?

  • I wanted one in 300 win mag left handed, but got a rem 700, the 1903 in 30-06 still works well if i want to deal with a right handed rifle lol.

  • I killed my first deer this year at 300 yards with this gun in 30-06 love this rifle

  • @MultiMatt888 I'm happy for you but you shouldn't kill animals with it. It's just not natural and killing animals for sporting is a bad idea. Trust me, it's a big waste of our planet

  • @DLemre I understand and respect your opinion but I hunt to eat and for sport. Sure I hunt because it is fun in my mind and challenges me as a shooter but I will never kill something wihtout eating everything that I can of the animal and make sure I dont cause any pain or suffering to the animal by getting a good heart or lung shot on It.

  • @DLemre Also I am not one of those hunters who kill dozens of deers or other species and claim they need to eat that many, thats just ignorant I have only killed two in my lifetime to trie and preserve the animals existance.

  • @MultiMatt888 Ok I see. ; )

  • Cobb

  • the winchester model classic rifles made in new haven ct are far superior to the rifles now being turned out now by FN with that cheap enclosed MOA trigger... How I wish the new haven plant were still producing model 70s... what a shame

  • @ReeveKnivesdotCom have you actually used a new one build by FN which is an exemplary weapons builder and builds extremely fine rifles for the military?

The new M70's are GREAT rifles

  • my first rifle was a winchester model 70 .243 caliber. Got for 150 bucks.

  • @MrAnoobis2 cool story bro.

  • winchester model 70 extreme weather in 300 win mag = dream gun

  • I have a model 70 30.06 that I use for hunting. Awesome weopond :D

  • I have a model 70 pre 64 358!

  • Dear Santa...

  • IMHO the new winchester model 70 with its new MOA trigger made by FN in no way compares the the New Haven made Win Model 70... with the original model 70 trigger. Sorry but its just not the same rifle...

  • I own and shoot nearly 2 dozen firearms...probably impressive to some and not so much to others...but I just love to shoot and appreciate a fine firearm. I'm not a hunter but I have an older model 70 .270 (about 15 to 20 years old now) and think it to be a very fine rifle even for non-hunting shooting. I got it because it was a VERY good deal at the time being that a guy bought it without his gun hating wife known so his loss was my gain. :-)

  • The Riflemans rifle:

Customized by James S. Stembridge, Lucas McCain’s modified 1892 Winchester SRC in .44-.40 caliber features a large rounded ring that allowed him to cock it by twirling the rifle 360 degrees.

    Just in case your interested.

  • 6 people own a browning

  • CARLOS HATHCOCK that is all

  • it's just a cheap copy of Mauser k98k !

  • @pinselplins you're retarded haha

  • @pinselplins Nearly All bolt actions are copies of the Mauser.

  • One of the few things still made in America.

  • America.

  • I know this will probably start another fight but what would you suggest as a beginner riffle? I dont want to invest too much $ on a rifle just yet. I want a "all rounder" something that will kill all dear inclueding moose? so far it is the winchester, you can buy it brand new at wallmart for less than $500. any suggestions would be apreciated.

  • @MrWeskoppie Russian (Yugo's have been known to be unreliable, Some chinese work great, others not so much, No one knows about north korean ones) SKS is a really nice gun. 7.62 gives quite a punch and you can get em for like $300-400 ish, semi-auto Timbersmith makes nice wood stocks if ur interested and come on... its Russian

  • @busfullofchinks i have never had a relieable sks and ive started to really not like them what do u recomend to find a quality one?

  • @outdoorsnewyork52 Have you just tried going to your local gun shop and asking which norincos and russian ones they have laying around? Ask if you can take a couple shots with those and see if you like them.

  • @busfullofchinks they have yugos in stock at the 2 stores i tried

  • @outdoorsnewyork52 Oh god. Well i guess you could give them a try and if they are to your liking. But id rather stay away form those. Try some online dealers that let people auction off their old guns. maybe you can pick up a reliable one from a smart buyer like you who just wnats it off his hands

  • @MrWeskoppie A Winchester .270 Cal. will take down anything that walks on the North American continent.

  • @MrWeskoppie if you get a modle 70 in 300 winchester magnum you'll have no trouble you can hunt dear or anything up to moose or even buffalo the 300 win mag has to be one of the best rounds out there if your want to use something smaller i recomend the 30.06 it will take down all dear and moose its really your choice do some research bu i se that either the 30.06 or 300 win mag are great choices whit a .270 its nearly imposible to take a moose or bear trust me on that

  • @Michaeldean88 No sir, the current M70 "classic" has the same claw extractor and may even be a little smoother as they added an anti bind to it. As for the rem 700 it has 3x the extractor size of the savage P.O.S. and BOTH THE REM 700 AND THE WIN M70 HAVE BOTH PASSED GOVT> TORTURE TESTING & SEEN COMBAT !!!! No country was willing to put its troops in danger of rifle failures by issuing a savage...GO FIGURE!!!! STOP TROLLING MIKE!

  • Note to all the southpaws here whining: I have a pre-64 model 70 in right hand, and even though I'm a southpaw I wouldn't put any left handed rifle in it's place except another M70. Also, try shooting a right handed bolt as a left and shoot as fast as you can. You will quickly find out how to make due with a righty gun.

  • @NObama28 BTDT. It's called the LHO technique (Lee Harvey Oswald) and in the prone it is actually faster because your face, bolt hand & trigger finger never leave their positions. However, in the standing position like most typical hunting, it is way slower and when dropping the rifle each shot to work the bolt then re-shouldering or raising the rifle skyward and repositioning your stock hand to the bolt and back to the stock. Too many opportunities for a mistake and way too much wasted time.

  • @7x57mmMauser actually, i just reach my left hand under the rifle, work the bolt, and return my hand to the trigger. i still keep my sight picture and can work the action that way. but if i'm hunting it doesn't really matter what side the bolt's on, because i only use one shot anyway

  • @NObama28 Hunt the dark continent. Things go terribly wrong sometimes and not only do you need more than 1 shot, you need more than 1 reload. You can have a buff hunt or elephant hunt turn into a fight for life easily enough. Hell, I have seen perfect shots just fail to do what they were supposed to and well hit buffs needed 5 shots. They are just really tough creatures. Miss an elephant's brain by just a few inches and he will be in the next country by the time a slow man works his bolt.

  • @7x57mmMauser true, but i'm not hunting buffalo or elephant, i'm hunting deer and elk. as long as i make a proper shot with a .270 Win, neither one is going far.

  • I have a 1964 Winchester Model 70 .270. Excellent rifle and its killed many deer. My grandfather hunted with it, my uncle hunted with it, and now I'm in my 4th year of hunting with it.

  • I agree with jedi, no southpaw model NO SALE! I will buy remington or browning or ruger, they care about southpaws.

  • @7x57mmMauser I have it heard that left hands guns are in the works. Might be out for 2012

  • @7x57mmMauser Save money, get a rifle that shoots just as good if not better, in other words...."Get a Savage!"

  • @Michaeldean88 I hate savage bolt guns, they have the worst extractor in the industry. I have owned 4 savage model 110's since way back in the early 80's when I was an E1 and poor and didnt have the money for a good rifle. I would buy the cheapest .30-06 gun in the pawn shop (savage 110E) and hunt with it all deer season then sell it to get my money back for bills and do the same thing the next year. Now in my late 40's I like to buy higher end quality guns and keep them.

  • @7x57mmMauser Dude you should have brains enough to realize the old savage 110 from 30 freakin' years ago isn't the savage 110 of today! They have the best trigger in the market, and even back then they had the best damn barrels, which stands true to this day. Are you freakin' kidding me? Extractor? Dude you obviously are a troll or something. I'd bet my Savage against any out of the box Remington or Winchester ever made. And ya know what? 95% of the people who own a new Savage will say the same!

  • @Michaeldean88 You think a savage ball point pen spring, daisy BB and pot metal extractor assy will outperform a winchester M70 mauser style extractor? A war rifle style extractor so reliable the USA copyright infringed to steal it for the 03-A3? I think we all know who the troll is and he is blinded by his devotion to a brand name and not FACTS. Stop trolling mike.

  • @7x57mmMauser I'm not throwing out a belted casing mon ami. My Savage extracts fine. The model has been around for a long time and it's the best selling hunting rifle in the US right now. I think I and the American people have made our choice sir. I am not trolling, I got upset over how you very rudely denounced a very fine and accurate rifle. I wasn't asking your division by the way, I was asking your regiment...I know you were in the 82nd

  • @Michaeldean88 You say its the most popular...wouldnt suprise me though because the American people voted in obama by popular choice...and the pet rock...and the mullet...bell bottom jeans......we can be stupid sometimes because the majority are indeed idle minded idiots.

  • @7x57mmMauser And we didn't copyright infringe the damn thing you idiot mainly copy rights usually imply a written document or a song. We bought the "patent" rights fair and square for $200,000 !!!

  • @Michaeldean88 the Springfield was a Mauser clone was confirmed in a series of patent infringement lawsuits filed by Mauser. Mauser won and the court ordered the US Government to pay damages...records indicate the USA paid huge sums of money in the form of penalties and licensing fees, even up to and during WW1 while the US remained neutral. YOU ARE THE IDIOT AND AN IGNORANT TROLL !!!! DO SOME RESEARCH YA SAVAGE BRAND WHORE !!!!

  • @Michaeldean88 Being caught stealing and taken to court and found GUILTY and FORCED to pay penalties for violation of copyright infringement isnt "fair and square" where in the phuck did you get your warped sense of justice? YOU ARE JUST AN IGNORANT TROLL.

  • @7x57mmMauser I get a 5/8ths of an inch grouping (100 yards) with my out of the box, less than $500 30-06 Savage rifle. I toyed around with ammo my gun seems to like a middle weight factory load best; I use 165 grain Federal SPBT. Bang for buck you will not beat that Sir... So go drop a thousand in a damn Ruger, or $900 in a Remington ( that will have burrs in the barrel) and yeah you'll have a rifle that'll shoot a frog's hair better (maybe) but I'll stick to the rifle you hate. *Shakes head*

  • @Michaeldean88 Until your savage leaves an empty in the chamber because the extractor fell off and a lion eats you alive. Add your savage to a bucket of concrete and chain and make a boat anchor out of it.

  • @7x57mmMauser I've cycled over 500 rounds through it without a single miss-feed, or extractor claw break. Taken everything from Coyote to Elk with it, dragging it across this entire continent. Do not tell me that my Savage is a piece of junk. I'd trust that rifle with my life. You're just pissy because it's a little different to work on than a mauser type action, the "Small block 350" of the gun smithing world. Say it ain't so...

  • @7x57mmMauser And selling a cheap used rifle ain't exactly a way to be makin' money anyways because you'll be lucky to get half ya damn money back. Seems like you weren't too smart because I bet you lost over a grand in doing so.

  • @Michaeldean88 Sold the rifles to fellow paratroopers in my unit at a fair price. Mostly to people new to hunting. What little money I lost was meaningless compared to the fact that I gained 10 fold by bringing new friends into the NRA and hunting sports. We were a brotherhood and giving a friend a good deal aint so bad as having a pawn shop or gun shop rip you off.

  • @Michaeldean88 I wasnt selling the rifle to make money. I didnt have the money to hunt AND pay my bills. So I delayed my bills and bought the rifle, hunted with friends and made memories of a lifetime. Then sold the rifles AFTER the season and paid off my debts. I think I made $490 a month back then plus $82 jump pay (something like that) and I actually lost pay when I deployed to Grenada cause I lost jump pay and went to combat "danger" pay which was like $75 a month. Be all you can be ! lol.

  • @7x57mmMauser 505thPIR or 325th?

  • One of the most beautiful rifle.

  • can you use it to hunt politicians?

  • wow the only thing made in USA

  • I LOVE MY SAVAGE

  • I have a 22 bolt by them and it has a pin hole iron sight. And use a 5 round clip. It's a little bit longer then the feather weight. Dose any one know what type it is?

  • I have taken more than a dozen elk and bear with mine. Great gun

  • BRB! goin to the bank then strait to the gunshop to put in my order ;)

  • my wish list ;

*******left hand stainless M70 classic with camo laminated stock in 6.5x55 SE or 7x57mm.

*******left hand stainless M70 featherweight with laminated camo stock in 6.5x55 SE or 7x57mm.

both of the above in .30-06 or .270 will do in a pinch if sales dept has no balls or guts.

  • until you make a left hand rifle REMINGTON & BROWNING will get my money.

  • Is this gun good for shooting cats?

  • you lost me at "made by over priveleged panzies"

  • @youfallhard then buy a tikka or sako, i don't care what you do

  • Hey which one is this? there is like 8 different model 70's

  • god bless america you guys get best rifles in the world

  • Nice, bought one of these earlier today. Winchester Model 70 in 30-06. I bought a nice Swarovski Z3 to put on top of it too.

  • I'm getting one next week.. Woohooo!!!!

  • every major brand says, amongst other things, that there the most popular rifle

  • Thanks

  • @kenyanblast your welcome.

  • What is a good caliber for deer and boar

  • @kenyanblast .270 .243 .280 .260 30/30 any of those.

  • @kenyanblast 7mm-08 Remington is also a great caliber

  • Model 70 was also used in Vietnam by several snipers. I know I love mine

  • i have 1 complaint, why no iron sights?

  • @zachryan10 yes i agree with you there. in my opinion, having a gun with no sights is pointless. you should always have that option

  • I bought a featherweight .243. Deadly accuracy! I've shot a badger, and 6 coyotes so far

  • the winchester model 70 is a great rifle. Mauser action and great accuracy. I highly recomend ths rifle.

  • That action is a modified Mauser action. The three step safety is the dead give away, but also the large extractor claw, the Mauser has always used it. They even have similar triggers. Even if you sporterized a K98 they would look fairly identical.

  • does the model 70 have a kick to it can some one email me if it does are does not

  • @34peavy what caliber model 70 is well just the model #.

  • @34peavy - the kick depends on what caliber you get it in. If you don't like kick, go with a .243 caliber.

  • if you are reading my comment right now and you came to watch this video because you are thinking about getting a bolt action rifle and you are still debating on getting a remington or this winchester model 70? - DONT get the remington. If i was you i rather get the winchester. I dont know how well the winchester made but i can tell you right now - the remington is a poorly made rifle.

the remington 700 is really overrated...after opening it up and seeing the parts, I dont like it any more

  • @thekentucykid9513 thank for that info. Hunting definitely not for me, I'm too much of a wuss, don't even have the stomach to gut a tiny fish, big hairy animal with all that "stuffing" would make me puke! Never had the pleasure of trying deer near the beaches of southern California. But will try if I get a chance....I heard dear is sweet

  • I know SOME people actually hunt for food for themselves, I have a coworker who goes hunting a few times a year. He lives in the suburbs where there are plenty of grocery stores and markets. exactly what do these people do with the animals they kill? is there some place that buys these off of hunters? of do suburban people gut these in their garage?

  • @Mikenopolis most people dont realise how good deer taste. most people will do whats called a field dress right where they find the deer it consist of remove the guts from the deer, heart lung intestines, from there some people will take the rifle to a butcher who will cut the meat in the cuts you want, i always have my deer made in to jerkey, some people will butcher the animal themselves but i dont. i eat every thing i kill except coyotes, possums, racoons, and the occasional chupacabra

  • thank you Paul Mauser for all our great hunting rifles!

  • my dad gave me a model 70 that he had used during vietnam and i can get sub inch groups a 150 yards

  • i hate when people complain about killing and eating animals. seriously.

    Dear Vegetarians,

    look at our teeth.

    that is all.

  • @jschlaht haha, true.

  • @jschlaht Dont go there. I know alot of girls from East Texas with no teeth, and they still eat meat.

  • @jschlaht LoL Nice one

  • You had me at..."Made in USA".

  • Without iron sights, "any rifle" looks more like an "instrument" than a rifle. The action and trigger are the heart of the rifle, but without iron sights, whether used or not, is just a deadly instrument.

  • The 7mm mag hurts if held wrong, but I love it!!!!

  • wonderfull

  • to the guy who said a 338 is overkill, most people take lung shots or neck shots. Both dont waste any meat (hardly anyone even proccesors keep rib meat. Besides the 338 diameter is barely bigger then a 270. plus a 338 can be a moose/elk gun

  • 338 is overkill ? better use a 22 instead

  • i got a 250-3000 winchester savage model 70 perfect rifle my group is an inch wide at 100 yards.

  • 270 is an excellent round. Not in high demand so the bullet cost is low compared to 308 win. Flat shooting round, excellent accuracy with practice and a .270 has knockdown power. I am glad I got one.

  • So what is the current price in gun shops? Not the MSRP thingy, which is always high, but the real price?

  • @thecuddlemoose my sporter (check out the video in my Chanel) was 799

  • @9pol1

That's not too bad. I guess the sporter is the shorter barrel one with a lighter stock?

My dad has a pre-64' from his dad and says I can get whatever I want, (within reason $) for my birthday

  • what do you reckon, is a model 70 over kill if i just want so shoot rabbits or should i stick to my .22 ???????

  • @BIGPOND400 i would be fun to see a rabbit get it by the 70 but if your going to eat it id stick to the 22

  • im torn either between this (in 30-06) or a pre 64 model 94 in 30-30.

  • @Bandanabandito1 get a pre 64 model 94 my favorite rifle had one since i was 14 still works great or you could get both

  • Wish the manufacturers would make at least one model with iron sights. Only the loudenboomer kickenharders come with iron sights.

A rifle w/o irons sights and just a scope looks more like an instrument than a field weapon.

  • i just love bolt action rifles they save ammo and shoot like god's smite

  • this vid ahs 53412 views now

this gun is will be in cod

    remember the good old number

  • Why don't they ever give credit to the Mauser 98k? That's basically where this rifle came from.

  • if anyone wants to know this is the guncarlos hathcock used in vietnam.

  • I have a model 70 and I love it! There's a reason it's called "the rifleman's rifle."

  • awesome

  • this is the biggest group of expert morons i have ever seen comment on anything

    self important and ego centric,

do any of you weigh less than 300 pounds?

  • I found one of these in my grandpas workshop and was wondering how it was. Dont know how old though.

  • Sorry Chuckallaway, Was not meaning to nit pick.. I understand your reason for calling it suck.. the 300 RUM only outshines the weatherby when it is handloaded, but both are great rounds for elk out there in Montana.

DSSSSC, The Model 70 winchester did have designs reminiscint of the Old Mauser 98.. Most bolt rifles did back then. The US even had to pay Mauser Royalties because the 1903 Springfield was an American Copy of the Mauser.

  • looks like another rifle based on the mauser

  • gonna get a model 70 in .300 win mag for my 18th brthday. i really like the Model 70 "Ultimate Shadow"

  • Funny how they went back to the pre 64' design! I have a 51' Mod. 70 in .300 H&H, it's a beauty. I always liked the bolt design, and it's a tack driver.

  • What round is normally chamberd in this, I have heard that quite a lot of rounds are used but which one is the "average" so to speak?

  • @Jaahaah I believe the gun was originally made chambered for 30-06 or 308... I know for fact it was one of those two.

  • Ok thanks, kinda expected it to be eaither one of those two, so common, I suppose you could chamber a .300 Mag for serious firepower right?

  • yah, the 300 win mag would be much better than both rounds by a long shot, but its not that serious of fire power, great long range deer and elk gun, but i would def go up to the 338 win mag if you need firepower... i shoot the 300 weatherby ultra mag, and thats a 180 grn bullet at 3,500 fps, smokin fast, better than the 300 win mag by a large margin, but after killing 2 elk with it now, its still not as much kill power as i would like, and it packs more knock down then the 338 win mag.

  • basically it comes down to your needs. the 300 win mag is more than enough for long range plinking out to 1000 yards, and will kill elk out to 800, but depends if you want a huntin rifle or paper shootin rifle, the 308 is capable of 1000 yard shots, but wont kill much when it gets there. also the recoil is another, can you shoot bigger calibers without flinching? i still kill deer with a 223 because im so accuarte with it, absolutely positive i can take those 500 yard shots with out an hickup.

  • .338 seems like a bit of an overkill, what good is it to kill a deer if you just blow it to bits, I like the sound of the .223, altough you really have to be accurate with that round, try to stay as humane as possible if you miss vital organs with the .223 that deer is not going to have nice days ahead of it

  • yes, 338 is overkill on deer for sure, but great for elk. and yah, the 223 is a tough round to hunt with if your if your a poor shot, last year i shot a buck at 600 with the 300wum, and it put a golf ball size whole through the neck, and the year before that i shot a mulie buck at 320 yards with the 223, and it was a double lung shot, went 15 yards and dropped, the beuty of "overkill" rounds is, if you dont hit vitals, it willl still kill it, or nock it over, so you can get another one off.

  • @ChuckAllaway Also, no round no matter how powerful will simply kill game just by hitting it and being overkill.. If the animal is small enough, and it causes bleeding sure.. Most of the time, it only incapacitates it.. I guess you could call the 460 weatherby over kill on grizzly, but if you shoot the bear in the gut, your still only going to piss him off. No offense meant..

  • @TheFoundersWereRight I couldnt agree more, i think this is another miss understanding, I put the word "over kill" in quotations, cause I have yet to see a round overkill anything. I meant that if you are using a bigger magnum cartrige, then shot placement isnt as critical as smaller rounds, because the impact and shock and wound channel it makes, I said, IF it doesnt kill it, it will at least nock it over so you can get another shot off. thanks again for clarifying tho

  • @Jaahaah Well, that's the thing...yes, it's nice to have a clean shot/kill but, if you are hungry, a grenade will suffice.

  • @ChuckAllaway Umm, There is no 300 Weatherby Ultra Mag.. Unless it is a wildcat you are referring to.. There is the 300 Weatherby, and then the 30-378 Weatherby.. I believe you are referring to the latter..

  • technically no there isnt, its a slang that me and a bunch of shooter palz from the range call it here in montana, because its the the same thing as a 300 rum, so we just called it wum, so yes, 300 WBY mag it is. good call, and good call on the 308, I didnt state that the 308 was it, it was out of the 06 and 308 from just common sence, but now we all know, thanks.

  • @ChuckAllaway

.30-06 The .308 was designed from the .30-06 (it was shortened for use in automatic rifles.

I want to get a "model 70 extreme conditions" in .30-06

  • @ChuckAllaway Sorry Chuck, but the 308 Didn't come around until the mid 50's.. The Model 70 was developed in the 30's.. Original Chamberings would have been 30-06, 270, and a few other options that today are considered Obsolete.

  • I have a model 70 338.

  • i have an orignal .308

  • I never could afford a Pre 64. I'm glad that I saw this video. Maybe next time around....

  • My Model 70 is a .243!!

  • hi thinking about buying one or maybe a browning a-blot, how do you find it?

  • Well going to test fire it this Wednesday at Bisley. Have today loaded 20 rounds of ammo and have 20 rounds of factory ammo to use.... Will let you know how I get on!!

  • I would love to buy one of these new rifles, standard or featherweight..I just wish that they would offer it in 243 winchester,,,,,

  • They will in the further.

According to Guns & Ammo Magzine that the will have it ready by 2011.

  • They are own in belgum but if I am not mistaking both Winchester and Browning have been partners with the Belgum company for many of years. So now the Belgum Company owns them but my beff with Winchester and Browning is that some of their guns are made in Japan. I have a Browing 12Ga Shotgun that I got for Chirstmas when I was 16 and it says made in Japan.

    Sad but true.

  • i own a model 70 from 72 my grandfather gave it to me last year the first time i shot it i got a bout two inches from the bullseye pretty good considering it has not been shot in about twenty years already got a doe with it i love that rifle its in really good condition theres only been about two boxes of shells shot out of it

  • Make sure you keep it for every because when a Grandfather any member of the family gives you a treasure like its somthing to keep and to pass on.

  • I love my model 70! It's on eof the older ones though, not a single piece of plastic on it!

  • a piece of art, as always. I have a mod 70 crpf wallmart. Best rifle i ever owned

  • Animals are dying to get on my dinner plate, thank God Winchester is here to help!

  • I am selling one of these in AB new Mexico if interested please look at my videos.

  • My favorite Bolt-Action rifle :D

  • Own a pre-64 model 70, it was chambered in .243 and I did not really care for that caliber so I removed the stock and barrel and sold them on ebay. Send the action to Hill Country Rifle and had them build me 7MM Mauser ( 7 x 57 ). It should 1/4 inch groups with custom handloads. It's an awesome rifle !

  • nice rifle..bad news for the animals

  • I just bought a Model 70 Super Grade in 30-06. Wow, what a rifle, extremely good fit and finish and incredibly smooth operating bolt. Going to get my Leopold VX 3 scope and see how she shoots. First impressions? Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

  • Such a beautiful rifle!

  • This is one of the finest rifles i have owned I love it,the action is so smooth its a great rifle,i bought a remington 710 and the action is really bad, jams all the time hate it buy the model 70

  • How much is the .223 going for? I inherited and I am not a hunter like my father was R.I.P.

I need money to get an armed guard card.

Its in new condition, no marks on stock, less than 500 rnds. The gunsmith here in New Mexico offered me 50 to 100 bucks. I didn't take his offer no way.

  • Would need the serial # to give an accurate price. Check the Blue Book of Gun Values for accurate pricing...Or at least a rough idea.
