  • You should definitely read the book The Alchemy of You by Pat O'Connell (Hormone Guru). It gives a good overview of the various hormone replacement therapies as well as alternative treatments with vitamins and herbal supplements.

  • I Know I need them but my healths dragged me down and I am penniless and only 44 years old. The western has made me worse.. she is on point w/ the HCL also that was exactly what the quack western doctors did to damage me worse...

  • pidemo1 no seas pendejoM she says IT PREVENT IT., AND OF COURSE we all going to die,and is no escape at all, but at least u die healthy happy, yea u going to said healthy?? of course u maybe be run by a damn train moron

  • bioidentical hormones won't keep *anybody* out of a nursing home

its the torture nobody talks about

unless you're able to die at home, you'll die in a hospital by fast trauma or a slow deterioration at a palliative or nursing unit

period: when the money runs out, you're fucked

but heaven forbid we allow people to choose their manner of death. nope! drug 'em up & let 'em die gasping or screaming... nobody cares because nobody is witness

we treat our pets better than our society's membership

  • Yes, I finally went to my dr. and asked for it and I started last week. I am determined to get sex drive back and get rid of pain in my joints and wants to loose weight. I have been going to gym for over two years and can't loose weight. Watching Oprah I am my own advocate now. I was in perimanapause for last 10 years but none of my doctors listened until I saw suzanne sommer, dr. christine northrup - my goal for 2009 was to fix my stuff. I am sure I am on right path. thanks

  • Well done you , hope its all going great for you.

  • Yes I believe that bioidentical HRT could possibly keep people out of nursing homes and I am speaking as a nurse (RN). Many people, especially older woman have crippling osteoporosis and arthritis sue to decreased bone density as they age. Bioidentical HRT will prevent bone loss from occurring as estrogen promotes bone absorption and bone building. This is just one example.....

Go Susan, I read her books all the time! She has done her homework!

  • they hate on her because she doesn't fit their mold

  • THANK YOU SUZANNE SOMERS!!! I would never have known about this unless you had spoken out. Thank you for caring enough to let the rest of us know what's going on!

  • I did not get that at all, pidemo1 ... you sound fairly harsh

  • I just posted, i want to add that some of Somers points on hormone therapy are good, but leading people to believe that hormone therapy will keep all people out of a nursing home is misleading as hell.

  • Somers said people in nursing homes are in wheelchairs with their mouths open because they are "on something." How idiotic. My Father was in a nursing home. he had Parkinson's dementia similar to Alzheimer's disease. People like this are not all " on something." many have diseases such as Alzheimers, many are crippled. or paralyzed. No hormone cures this. . saying no one has to be in a nursing home due to hormone treatment is ridiculous.

  • She wasn't taking a dump on Nursing home patients. Take it easy champ

  • she's the best)
