Witch is from an italian Manga-Manga being the Japanese name for comic books. Bit it has nothing to do with the counrty of Japan-Aside from the fact that Disney has studios IN Japan. This is French animation in the Japanese style from a company called Sip. It's up to the Italian creators and the French company affiliated with Disney. So, it's up to Disney and it's not Japanese-google it-there's nothing majorly japanese with it aside from the style of animation and possibly a name here and there.
