  • HOw long will it be after you plant the seed that you will get some fruit? Thnx!

  • @321Bizzare from 1 year if it is a bonzai or 2 years if not a bonzai

  • i got a pom seed to sprout

  • UC Davis has a test field of pomegranates called Wolfskill. They would know just about everything you need to know about Pomegranates. I have never wanted to grow a pomegranate from seed, when it is almost 100 percent successful with a pencil sized cutting, that is true to the variety, unlike the randomness of a seed!

  • free amazon gift cards at swagbucks(.)com/refer/gamer145

    dont include () these in

  • i found scarification works well with citrus seeds 2

  • Temperate zones O.K? any hardy varients?

  • thanks but duh all fruit is good for you

  • Thanks inspiring

  • I am a pomegranate lover. I have been growing them for thirty something years. If you know someone with a tree, get a cutting in the dormant season, stick a few into pots and they will start a tree, that is true to type, not like seeds, which like your kids, can be any which way!!!! lol You save a lot of time and get the variety that is a proven winner, by using a cutting. This works very well with figs. Be sure you live in a temperate climate, although they can take pretty cold weather.

  • @kathydiewald how long will it take for a tree to mature from seed

  • @kathydiewald Can I plant it in SAudi arabia.. The temperature goes above 50 degrees celcius.. will it survive or should I keep it sun for maybe couple of hours each day..?

  • @anasbinqamar in summer time you have to put them under shade and sprinkle some water and mist them .. as it can be really hot .. btw i m from saudia arabia too :)

  • I love my Pomegranate plants, and they bonzai well! Cheap seeds and tasty too!

  • ewww that is a bad pic 0:20

  • Wow thanks next time I see pomiganites I will plany some!

  • Unless you live in perfect conditions, don't expect to be eating pomegranate everyday.. I've even had some produce NO fruit one year

  • @bigpapa123456789 you can take the seed out of it carefully... Nice thing about the seeds... they are a unique type of fiber... can't find nothing quite like it ever...

  • That pomegranate in the intro looks manky!

  • live healthy my friends

  • Please can you show how we should do escarification. Nice video

  • how long will it take the plant to give you fruit.

  • @vietthu16 it will give you a tiny fruit the first year, then depending on how good the soil is, it will give you 10+ the second year. will give you less if you live in colder climates.

  • Where can I get a mr. green thumb tool?

  • @london1817

i think you can use swiss army knife.

  • because the ripest pomegranate seeds grow the best, and the unripened ones are better for eating. Wouldn't you rather eat the just barely ripe on than the over ripe one? Oh! Not gonna eat the near rotten one? What are you gonna do? Throw it away... or plant it? And there's your answer...

  • tnx

  • seriously... it looked rotten... I want to know how to grow non rotten pomegranates.. FAIL...

  • but you need a ripe fruit right down to old to ensure it grows well. if you pick a young one most likely it will not grow..

  • but why show such an ugly pomegranate?
