Yes it's a 400 Michael, (well spotted). After the excitement of a windy inflation I forgot to allow for the false lift so yes the tree got us! Love a bit of leaf picking after take-off but prefer it to be with our passengers hands not their teeth! ;)
Thanks for posting this Sean!You failed to mention the flight went for 1 hr 10 mins & with a gentle stand up landing at the end.If that tree hadn't have been there we would have had a fairly normal flight.You say "No wonder the other balloon pulled out" but could it have been that he didn't have the ability to inflate his balloon in those windy conditions?There are places around the world where they need to inflate their balloons in windy conditions all the time like Alice Sprints and Kenya.

Getting a balloon of that size to rise at that speed in that small amount of time is near impossible. Its a 400 i think. No harm done.
