  • Not my kind of guy. Tons of energy, highly confident, yet comes off as an annoying salesman that I have no interest in dealing with.

  • After using that glo lighting system, how do you like it? I was considering getting that exact model

  • Potty mouth! :)

  • That is a lot of tanks man. They look great. My wife thinks i'm nuts too with the fish keeping. It is indeed a kick ass hobby. Check out my tanks if you get a minute. Cheers! :)

  • @DJLEMAY Hobby is great.I often drop tips on keeping them entertained with it and allowing more tanks... stay tuned, thanks for watching!

  • hye dustin rachael from dublin, ive started a new 180litre tropcal fish tank and i put gravel and sand in the tank i planed my plants but my pleco keeps eating them well i think he is cos there dieing off nd theres holes all ovetr the plants will i keep ging wit the live plants or just switch to plastic but i hate plastic plant s

  • @satisfactorygirl Get rid of the pleco! plecos eat plants, bottom line...planted tanks and plecos dont mix...Give it to a friend thanks for watching!

  • T5HO are great but they put out some heat. Thanks for getting my addicted back to the hobby. My name's Ed and I have a fish tank addiction.

Reminds me of Finding Nemo... Fish are friends NOT food!!! lol

  • u look hot and i love your tank. keep up with your work.

  • I use the glow ho ballast on my 130 and my 65 and they are great. T-5's cost much less to operate than the metal halide. The down side is the life of the bulbs are much less.

I dissagree with the one or two species. Life would be pretty boaring if we were all alike

  • Thanks for the kind words. Like I say in the forum on Fishtanktv.... "Hi my name is dustin and I have a fishtank problem..."

Glad you like the videos ...I love this sh!t. My wife thinks im nuts...

Get in the forum and we'll chat it up, tell me what you got and what were trying to do. You just need your youtube login or FB or Twitter. simple..

  • its true a tank looks better with one or 2 species but for us who can only have one tank its like a kid in a sweet shop, your lucky to have loads!

    great vids btw

  • fish crackhead!! haha u make me feel better about myself!

    and btw sweet setups!

could u give a description of the setup inside such as substrate and any co2 injection??

im trying to get my plants ( jungle val, amazon swords) to flourish.

  • @Surge3k .....which one? tell me which tank and I'll share in the forum...check out fishtanktv com first. pretty good videos/writeups there.... thanks fellow fish crack head

  • if you want more people to start watching your channel/site you need to put more tags in tyour vid so when people type in fish or planted tanks your vids will come up.

  • @hardcoreGrat i usually go and retag it all later... kinda a pain. I'd like to use TubeMogul for other video sites to get more traffic to fishtanktv but if I have to do something I'd rather be making and commenting than taging...Any other advice on getting higher views?

  • @Dustinsfishtanks tagging and adding proper descriptions is the best advice. Aside from that, i would join a friendly forum, start a thread, and then just post a link to a new video everytime you upload one.

  • I have a planted ten gallon, I got t8putting out 1.5wpg can i get away with, micro sword, dwarf sag ,or narrow leaf chain sword. I have 1in soil under fine sand. Thanks

  • @oakcrayfish yeah, not sure on narrow leaf chain sword... dwarf sag for sure...
