  • And this is supposed to sound like a modular Moog..? Come on..! I own three original Minimoogs and any one of them would knock this into oblivion. And believe me... a real modular Moog would have my Mini's running for cover....;c)

  • @noddyspuncture Mate, as you said: You have original Moogs, so how do you think this softwares can compete with them? This is just a simulation of those, of course nobody think they are supposed to sound like originals. Are you showing off or what?

  • @HourglassAMV Thanks man, it's Arturia's Moog Modular V2

  • Do you need that keyboard attachment to use the Moog Modular?

  • @IEatGuns No, you definitely do not. However, it would be really hard to play without it. Almost impossible.

  • your own patch?

I have great respect for people who can program a modular!

  • @SernoMusic No, i wish it's mine. It's called ProgFusion74 as far as i remember

  • Can't believe I just found this. You got some very sweet sounds out of the Arturia... Congrats!

  • Great sounds!!

    Vey nice equipment! :-)

  • This might sound like a dumb ass question but can someone explane to me how to get my Korg controller K61 to work with Arturias moog modulator

  • @ironandbrass All you need to plug it in to your computer and make the software preferences according to your equipments.

  • Brilliant, man. Saving up to purchase one. Thanks for your post.

  • does anyone know what midi he has?

  • @OnCall101Villa it is a discontinued -i guess- midi controller of m-audio. it's called "evolution"

  • @railertoros LMFAO I HAVE ONE man...they are such shit..but they get the job done ... No sensitivity on the keys ... no transose button... shits wack.. but whatever ... how much did you pay for yours ?

  • @coolchild2001 Well yeah, that's right. It limits you in a way, but it's ok : ) I bought it for about 50-55 $ years ago

  • @coolchild2001 true, key sensitivity is pretty important when you want to add some feeling into your synths, what vst's do you prefer bro? im always interested in new vsts, peace out

  • thanxs for your help :)

  • i bought this program off of e-bay and im kind of unclear as of what i can do with it, i bought i to start making music and i thought it had a record capability..but im now learning it does not, any idea, or software that i can get to record the stuff i make? and make it compatible with this, and i also noticed you were using a keyboard along with the program, is that just to heighten more effects. please help

  • no offence but Im getting tired of not haaving a physical synth to work with, i have the Moog Modular V as well and it is great, but I cant stand not being able to cange things on the fly. Im gonna save up for a Korg MS 2000.

    btw 5 out of 5!

  • Yes, you are totally right, but you know the prices of those magical things :) Thanks for your kind comment.

  • angie4josh, you could always use a synth control surface like the Behringer BCR2000, lots of knobs for not a lot of money

  • VERY GOOD !!!

  • Thanks!

  • Great video, unfortunately the audio quality doesn't reflect what this softsynth is capable of.

Do try and record the sound of the synth separately and then exchange that soundtrack with the one recorded by the webcam.

This makes for a far better presentation. ;-)

    Anywho. ~ Keep it up!

  • Thanks for the kind advice!

  • very good

the keyboard is pluged to USB?

    thanks

  • Yes, it is plugged to USB.

  • U understood me right

  • IS what all?!)))

  • Sorry, but I don't understand. Did you mean "Is that all?" ?

  • 5¤¤¤¤¤!!!!!!! ........

  • good!

  • cool!! interesting!!!

  • this is so funny :D:D:D

  • funny? like what?

  • what more than the software and the controller do you need?

  • A soundcard may be useful.

  • Amosférico ambient,,,guapo :)

  • *beggining, lol typo

  • wow! that reminds of that held synth chord at the begging of Pink Floyd's "Shine on you crazy diamond"

  • I'm glad that you like it.

  • cool, thanks. Think I'll be getting me a cheap-o to learn on then. lol.

  • Do M-Audio midi controllers require an M-Audio interface? or can they be used with all interfaces?

Just wondering, since Pro Tools is all proprietary as hell.. and I can't see your interface.

  • Yes, you can use them with all kinds of interfaces. I'm using an M-Audio Firewire Solo.

  • Nice. What midi controller is that? It's exactly what I need.

  • It`s the cheapest midi controller on earth. M-Audio´s Evolution series.

  • im having trouble installing mine ... care to help fam ?

  • hmmm... It`s just a plug&play keyboard, so I don`t understand what is the problem. Maybe you need to re-install your usb drivers

  • Thank you for your help. Keep doing what you're doing sounds awesome!

  • Sounds like something Pink Floyd would do very cool!

  • thanks for your comment

  • Do you know if all usb keyboards can go into a Mac or do you need a special one for the Apple.

  • I'm not %100 sure, but I don't think you need a special one for the Apple. It's just a controller at all.

  • Excellent little set up...wicked sound..what is that white keyboard contoller you are using?..very compact and kewl

  • Thanks! It is Evolution something something. Not very common in shops, but incredibly cheap. It's like "just the keys"!

  • Where do you learn how to use a modular synth? and generate different things?

    THanks great stuff!

  • There are presets coming with the program. However, working and working with it, you got something.

  • How about getting a real Moog?

  • How about sponsoring this? :D

  • I think you should check the connections from properties.

  • how and what do i need to hook the controller to my laptop? thanx!

  • you only need an USB input and the program.

  • so, the controller only needs to have usb and doesn't need to have midi? i'm thinking about getting the Arturia software (7 vintage synths). where and what controller should i get? thanx!

  • the midi control is a crap! sorry dude!

  • Haha no need to sorry man, I know it is. However, this was the cheapest one.

  • Yes, I bet! Try to buy a M-Audio with some knobs and sliders. It helps alot with synths!

You can change the virtual controls in real time from your keyboard. I use a Axiom 61 works like a charm.I recomand you a: Oxigen 49 for just 185 USD.M-Audio offcourse!

  • Actually I'm planning to get an Axiom 49. It has everything that I want.

  • well better! i made you this sugestion because of price. is a good price.

  • i just ordered the NOVATION REMOTE 37 SL CONTROLLER. what sequencing software works with the ARTURIA collection? will REASON 4 be compatible?

  • Any kind of sequencer may work well with Arturia's softwares I think. I use Nuendo 2.

  • ay does this work with fl studio 7

  • No idea... I guess it'll fit with it.

  • Hey Bro, How Much Did The Midi Board Set You Back??? I Don't Suppose You Have Control Over The Pitch Bend Wheels Do You On That Thing? It's Doesn't Look To Sophisiticated, But Shit, I Need One lol...

  • You are right. This is a very basic and primitive midi keyboard. No pitch bend or mod wheels. Just what you see! :)

It's that "plug&play" things, but works well(enough for me).

  • I Agree, I WANT IT!!!!

  • That's rocks! How are you interfacing the keyboard to the computer? Are you able to save the music you play? I'm thinking about getting this program, I've used the demo.

  • It's a midi keyboard uses just USB connection. No MIDI in/out. And yes, I'm able to save the music I play, but it's nothing to do with the keyboard or the software. I use Nuendo 2, that's how I record. Also, I have an external sound card(M-Audio Firewire Solo)

  • get a life, idiots! :)

  • şaka bi yana, iyi olmuş... evet.

  • lol

  • toros crimson

  • It sound very nice! How does it sound different from the hardware synth?

  • I am glad that you like it. Thanks, but I don't understand what you mean by saying "sound different"?

  • I mean,if you could play both the software and the hardware side by side, what would be the difference in sound?(perhaps difficult to have acsess to a real modular moog synth for testing)Or do you mean they are equal?

  • Yes, it's quite difficult for me to test a "real" moog synth :)

I think, there must be some kind of differences.

  • hey dude! did you pay for the software? bi sürü adam çalışıyo lan onu yapmak için... hırkızlar! :P

  • abi valla ben kurdum ama ne register istedi, ne bi şey, ben de anlamadım :)

  • kamera kimde lan artık işleri büytmeye başlamışsın ahaha

  • parmaklar!! coklar!! yerler!!

  • hepler, çoklar, yaşasınlar :)

  • It sound very nice! How does it sound different from the hardware synth?

  • alet işler, el övünür. :p

    şaka len, süper olmuş.

  • Bu biraz dandik oldu, ama sonra düzelttim :)
