  • @cdfgenhatharyarmteb Nah nah nah, They're just examples.

  • @cdfgenhatharyarmteb yeah, there's no reason to paint a whole nation, but in the US its pretty easy to talk bullshit and make ppl believe it. but of course there r dumbasses all around the world. :D

  • I love how right wingers HATE when left wingers succeed at capitalism, but when they succeed they try to say they "earned" it. Lol.

  • @BlameRepublicans If you mean what I think you mean, in that Al Gore is a successful capitalist and that's pretty much his goal, then yeah I agree, as if his manipulation is any more devious than consumerism.

If you use marketing to sell your product/service, then you're all the same

and if that's not what you're saying, then I'm saying it all now

  • Gore pulls some underhanded bullshit to make himself some money and the right wingers cry. If W. Bush does the same thing they would say "Ain't that great! American capitalism at its finest!". It's a double standard.

  • I buy Cheese Puffs. I'm so fucking bad-ass.

  • nice

  • @cdfgenhatharyarmteb atleast 51% tho rite since you kept bush in office for 2 terms?

  • what about farting out that little retarded girl the dad is holding? thats at least 9000 pounds of queef carbon, charge it up biotch

  • Like christopher hitchens says, although he was repeating someone else I can't remember.... There i no other "earth to test the theory of global warming on, so even if it's false, we should act as if it's true.

  • @upplsuckimcool16 Yes, which is the exact case for why you should believe in god. Even if he doesn't exist, you may as well play it safe and go to church ^.^

  • @cdfgenhatharyarmteb Cry more please, any person with a reasonable amount of logic knows americans are good people for the biggest part. Those people just don't comment cause kind and nice comments are boring to read. Paranoia much...

  • Eco hippies!! Only in america...man.

  • @Ayanami1000 They're all political hippies in Europe, though. Obama goes over there, tells a few token political lies, and they're in the man's pocket.

  • Why hasn't anyone shot Al Gore yet?

  • Al Gore is pure evil

  • that ending was a cheap shot

  • @cdfgenhatharyarmteb Not all europeans hate america; get over ut anto foregn attitude.

  • If someone approaches you with a clipboard, ask her to fuck you. She'll either leave or fuck you, it's win-win.

  • @cdfgenhatharyarmteb

You're that upset about how the world feels about Americans? The rest of us know it's bullshit... why don't you?

  • BULLSHIT teller has much more power then al gore and the pope :]

  • sooner or later we are going to hold our farts in so we don't end up getting a carbon credit "fine" lmao

  • in business class my teacher taught us all the scams of these years and how to make your own. im loving it!

  • lmao!!!!!! i never realised cheezy poofs were acctually real!!! lol i allways giggled wehn i saw carman eating em but i thought it was south parks gag hahaha

  • That's a lot of dead straw men.

  • Al Gore, Schmal gore, his holier than thou wife & her attemps to censor music are still pissing me off.

  • Get the details right guys!

In modern usage a labyrinth has just one winding path to a centre. A maze has branching paths and choices to make. They are not the same thing.

  • i could call my car a space shuttle and refer to it as modern usage of the word for the same credibility. a labyrinth is a mythalogical structure that originated in greece. in myth prissoners would be promissed freedom if they found their way out, but at the center was a monster known as a Minator. you can claim modern usage all you like but it does not give any credit to your claim.

  • to be more acurate those spirals are a variation of celtic spirals and have made their way into the representation of chakra in new age medicine. i am sure i don't need to mention that the celts had nothing to do with chakras.

  • The ancient use of "Labyrinth" is a maze that has choices. I would go for the ancient use, not the modern one.

  • Well, it is a TV show called "Bull****." :)

The more noble approach to human impact really is bettering energy technology so we don't spend so much and pollute so much. I think P&T are really just saying we aren't sure about the temperature change and human impact on large world climate change. There's the exaggeration. The more eminent threat is resource wars, which I remember talking about in diplomacy courses was an ancient style of war, not a 21st century style. :d

  • Well, its a hard topic, as most nuts and scientists are on the same side of the scale.

  • I love Penn & Teller but they don't interview any scientists that think Global Warming is caused by us. Most scientists believe that global warming is a serious problem.

  • you don't think that's the media trying to get you to think that?

  • No.

  • No they don't. A petition signed by over 15,000 scientist, most with a PHD, was sent to Congress saying in was a crock of sh+t. Unless by most scientist you mean like three???

  • Link? because if this is the petition I'm thinking of it was only signed by 36 Climatologists. Meaning that less than a percent of the signers are in the relevant field.

  • They only banned DDT in america and outdoor use everywhere else (since it did harm wildwife too much). They stopped DDT completely after the insects started developing a resistance to it. They now use more eco-friendly stuff (testing it anyway).

  • They banned DDT because of its environmental impact and health risks on humans, not because of its inefficaciousness. It's still used in India and possibly North Korea.

  • ahahaha!

the chick who pretended to ask for carbon credits was trying so hard to get the lady in red not to give her money.

"the carbon credit money is going to help run the state penitentiary."

  • Obama wants to pass a cap and trade :O

  • wow all these "green freaks" need to grow a pair and stop sobbing over the environment. Learn some facts for yourself and quit following people blindly. You can have opinions about global warming and the like but trying to pass regulations on it and forcing all of us to have self-guilt and weep daily while sitting in a freezing house with no food is bullshit!

sorry if I seem so mad but this issue irritates the hell out of me because of how stupid and arrogant its proponents are.

  • Religious-Fags

  • ROFL conclusive....

You GW idiots are almost as bad as religious nutters.

  • Indeed. People also seem to forget al gore was sued for flat out lying in his movie. The court concluded he was just a politician and couldn't think, yet still people see him as jesus.

  • Good episode.

It just shows how stupid Americans are.

  • not stupid, misinformed.

    and ignorent.

  • Incidentally, Penn's totally wrong about labyrinths. Both mazes and laybrinths are convoluted and twisty, but only mazes have choices. Labyrinths are always a single path. Please look it up if you don't believe me! :D

  • This is a fantastic episode!

Note that Penn and Teller aren't claiming that global warming is bullshit, simply the con-men industries that have risen up around it to scam money from people who feel guilty. Carbon credits are bullshit. Eco-scares are bullshit. Eco-guilt is bullshit. Eco-therapy is bullshit. Stick to science, reason, rationalism, and critical thinking!

  • so true.
