  • Awesome!!!

  • It doesn't sound great recorded straight. If you filter it thru guitar pedals (analogue chorus) it really can sound fat. A DS is about 100 bucks used and the cartridge is around 10 bucks used, which is far cheaper than any gear on the market. The price alone makes it worth a shot if you don't have it. It really goes deep and you can spend hours just making a drum track, and weeks on a whole song.

  • Crazy thing is, you can drop all these expensive instruments and make an identical track on the KORG DS-10. Not saying you should do that, but you could, for only like 100 bucks. But, I like you, am also a gear slut.

  • @kunstssst wow, that thing does look involved for a ds programme! I wonder how well it could be recorded or played live though?

  • nice!!!!!!

  • nice tune man! what's the machine just next to your mixer (your left hand) - sr18?

  • @RaverWild yeah, that's the sr-18

  • really nice.
