in uk T mobile are know to have a really bad signal despite are good in area and they say masts are within my local area yet my signal is crap one min it has a service the next not I just wish I wish I could with a rival company I can't its a long story why but still there is a lot to use on the I phone 4 though despite signal being crap. They do say they have joined up with orange masts and I still see no difference though my suggestion is if you can go with a other rival company if u can!

iPhone 4 is a smart phone (and smartphone).

When there's WiFi, it does not use EDGE/3G/GPRS so you won't get charged!

When there's no WiFi or it is closed, it uses EDGE/3G/GPRS to connect to internet!

I got edge and mms to work for about 10 min, then it stopped. Got the unlimited data plan from tmobile. I noticed it stopped working when I turned on my wifi and back off (dont know if thats the reason). Any thoughts?

if it doesnt work for any of u ,and when u go and browse the internet and it says upgrade,dont worry call tmobile and tell dem you just got an iphone and would like to get the iphone plan, they charged me the same, i have unlimited everything
