The shifter is quality, and I like the old school looks, the dash is apart because I was installing gauges under the radio, but I would rather drive my car after working on it for three months, then spend another day or two getting the gauges just right. Look at the newer videos for completed gauges.

@afterlyfe33 yeah, its fine, its not very fast without mods, without mods a 5.0 mustang is slower than a 2008 chrysler sebring with a 6 cylinder, im guessing newer cars have all sorts of computer chips and bullshit to make them faster, but an old 5.0 mustang needs a turbo or supercharger, and you cant put a turbo or supercharger on the old engines without making them blow, you need a new engine, with a regular supercharger you should be able to get themustang up to 350hp, but it might blow rods

cars like mine sell around $8,000 or more depending on the condition, but it will cost you a bit to get it to this level if you build it yourself.

just focus on finding a fox in great condition with a 5 speed, then build it yourself :)

DO not worry about little things. just make sure the body is straight, engine is good, tranny is good, no rust and start building. I got my 91 fox in good condition already partly modded for 3,000 and bought a blower for it for 1000 and runnin 12 second quarters and 3.9 seconds to 60 reliably :)
