  • Thank you for this video showing me how to cook Tachin. What other dishes shall I serve to accompany this dish to my guests?

  • Khob Khun Ka>>>Kheyli mamnoon ^O^

  • BRAVOOO I REALLY LIKE IT THANK YOU VERY MUCH<3

  • this looks sooooooooooo delicious!!! yummy! i will have to make this! <3

  • That looks so good thanks for sharing. I am going to eat some chicken skewers tonight. One chicken and one kubideh and rice. I love Persian food.

  • Measurments?

    Heat?

    Time?

3 crusial points in any cooking was missed.

    Otherwise it was OK

  • Thank you! I have a friend who tells me the same thing. I guess I should listen. God bless you .

  • @kristylee571 Any time my dear. The secret is in the quality of the food. If we eat food that has undergone less industrial processing, and retains more of its nutritional value (vitamins, minerals, fibers) we need to eat much smaller quantities before we are satisfied. It is good to listen to our body & be sensible.

(An added bonus of a balanced life, it's good for skin & hear beauty !!!)

  • FUCK IRANIANS

    اوه خدای من.

  • @kristylee571 khob nakhor ..

  • @kristylee571 Shouldn't worry too much about calories.

All the ingredients here are natural & unprocessed so the body knows how to metabolize it properly. No artificial additives (coloring, flavorings, added fats etc..). This is how we should eat more often, & take joy in the simple pleasures of life.

  • Do you know how to make humane tahchin, without adding dead animals?

  • @NasimATBird Even though I'm non-vegetarian, I'm sure there are a variety of meat substitutes found in the produce section that can be used for the tachin recipe. I wonder if chopped or sliced veggie sausage links would make the recipe good or if a veggie substitute for chicken can be used, which I've seen in supermarkets. Just suggesting. I'm not sure if this is true but I think it's common for Persians to make tachin with nuts, raisins, and certain green herbs too.

  • @TheLavish99 I never made tahchin and never ate it but like to try it, don't know how vegans prepare it. I will try your sugestions and maybe add vegan sausage or tofu!

  • thank you so much for making this video

  • did you cook the meat before?

  • great job.. tnx for uploading ths video

  • persian fooood network HOLLAAAAAA

  • it looks very delicious and made me HUNGRY!!! thank you.

  • goshnam shod, yummmm

  • this must be the ODDEST way of cooking tahchin. but the outcome seem to be very acceptable. so, i suppose there are many ways to make the same dish!

  • Hi. Thanks for the recipies. I've watched some of your videos and liked the way of your cooking. I am Armenian and I'm going to live in Tehran after my marriage. So I'll surpize my future husband's family with these dishes!!

  • I love your accent!

  • I never heard of anyone adding Raisins in Tahchin. Ive seen a few recipes that add Zereshk (barberries) as a garnish !!!

  • I love it thanx for the video ,ama chera enghadr asabani va jeddy hastin 1kam labkhand bad niiss ke !!!

    Thats my fave iranian dish

    Im gonna do it tmrw

    Viva iran .

  • I really enjoyed watching your video. You made making the tachin look effortless! :)

  • @ onoharahigashi

No its not a baking tin, its a bit ticker like frying pan, you can use a normal casserole pot or fry pan.

  • is that a normal baking tin you used?

  • Thank you very much for these recipes. I love the pots and pans you use and wish I could get them here in the States.

  • I am trying this right away but sure that it will not turn as good as the way Persians make..Persians and Hyderabadias(Deccan-India) are experts in cooking:)

  • I like it only with chicken. As matter afact I have not seen lamb any where in Iran. But It dose sound good.

  • meex dem togeder hahah i love iranian accents

  • the food looks o riches .fatting

  • I enjoyed your video, but I was just wondering how long (the amount of time) I should put the tachin in the oven for to make it like yours.

  • Looks delicious! I love Persian food. I'll have to try (it won't taste as good done by Canadian hands but we must do our best!) Thanks - Joan

  • come to my house and make me dinner sister! :))

  • YUM YUM

  • Hi brother needs to chat a, Asian women busizz4me.info

  • You are the best! I made tahchin before with small cubes of chicken, not marinated, just mixed with yogurt/saffron etc. It did not have enough flavor. I love the large pieces and marinade you used! Also it looks beautiful from the oven on the tray, instead of from the rice maker! I will add some zereshk and advieh I bought in Iran. Your English and cooking skills are both wonderful!

  • it needs to be more yellow and a lot more crispier.

  • isnt it supposed to be yellow?!!

  • bah bah

  • Thank you for posting this video ! Some iranian friends of my girlfriend made this the other day and I absolutely loved it so now I can try it for myself !

  • i love ur accent

  • lovely food.

  • it looks very good, a side dish of jajik will complement it nicely i think

  • good to find different types of tahchins, i will try this one too. Thanks for sharing:-)

  • Great video, but I got a question. I was wondering whats the temperature of the oven in degrees celcius or fahrenheit. Ovens over in my country don't have gas marks or "medium" or "low".

  • @Sibelian Hi Thank you for your comment,

Pre-heat the oven to 250°C; 500°F and place the Tahchin there and after 15 mins lower the heat to 180°C.

  • @faridehehtesham

Oh my God you are so good at it,every time I made this dish it was terrible.thanks again

  • Thnaks.

I always liked to learn how to cook tahchin.

  • Merci Khanoom!!! very helpful indeed...

  • thank you very much for this video, I saw a photo of tahchin while reading about Iranian cuisine on Wikipedia, it intrigued me as it looked so delicious. I would definitely like to try make it one day!

  • thats alot of fat !

  • Thx alot! amazing video

  • Khanoom dastetan dard nakoneh shado javid bashid

  • Thanks! it was grrrrrreat! we cooked it and it was delicious....thanks for keeping it in English; we can forward your videos to our foreign friend who are interested in Persian food.

The only measurement we missed was the amount of yogurt...we guessed it to be two full TBSPNs and it worked!

Your videos are very nice...keep up posting new ones.....great job!

  • Great video! Thanks so much. I have a few recommendations as a viewer:

1- Please turn off the stove hood when speaking

2- Please say the measures more accurate...as a beginner I really do not understand how much ingredient XX is enough ...

    Thanks!

  • @ashkanashkan2

Thank Ashkan for your comments. I will try to remember to turn to hood off the next time but as I am not a professional chafe or video producer and do not have right equipments these kind of mistakes are forgivable I just like to share my recipe with English speakers who are interested in Persian food. In response to your second comment you can find ingredients and measures written in beginning of each programm. Thanks again for your interest.

  • @ashkanashkan2 Ungrateful of what?

  • thank you very much.

  • is that ok if i don't use lead?

  • @elnur601 If you don't use lead the top of the Tahchin would be dry and crispy. If your pot does not have a lead then covers it with 2 layers of Aluminium Foil.

  • بابا فارسی صحبت کن. ایرانی هستیم هرجا که باشیم.

    بسیار زیبا و اموزنچه بود.

    peresian pinoy

  • aidanikhalid Its much easier for me to speak Farsi but my videos aim to serve people who don't speak Farsi. There are plenty Farsi cooking programs in Youtube that you can use if you like.

  • I was wondering at what temperature did you cook the rice in the oven? How many cups of rice did you use and how big is your pan. Would love to make this recipe but I first need to know the questions I asked for better results. How many pounds of lamb for the amount of rice used?

Thank you for such great video!

  • oven's temperature Medium for 30 mins (check frequently the bottom of the rice when golden its done)

Check ingredients in beginning of the video but add two spoons more butter on top of the rice.

Size of the pan: 25cmx40cm or 35cm round pan
