R.I.P Vince Crane; poor devil. Great song from a fantastic band from the greatest decade for music. The girls were naturally beautiful and the bands were naturally gifted and full of musicians that could really play. Not like today's assortment of faked-up "Artistes" and enhanced and botoxed monstrosities. Strange to think some of these girls will be grandmothers now.

Notice that there is no bass guitar player on stage. Vincent Crane played bass parts with his left hand and keyboard parts with his right hand like Ray Manzerek use to do in the doors. What a shame to lose Vincent on that fateful Valentines Day 1989. Thank you for posting this performance.

If a modern band covered this song today, they might have a hit on their hands. You can hear that both Crane and Emerson played on the same type of keyboard. But Crane's background was more in jazz and blues, and Emerson's was in classical.

No bass player, just Vincent Crane's left hand. Saw them loads of times from '69 till about '72. absolutely brilliant. First time I saw them, they were on supporting Deep Purple and Fleetwood Mac. You won't get that for a quid now!
