The picture right before it with the hood up is the Gen4 hood as you can see the larger vents up towards the front. the viper is a mixture of a muscle car and a supercar its heritage and looks are based on the shelby cobra because carrol shelby designed it. and besides just because it has a v10 doesnt mean its not muscle.. because technically musclecars werent supercharged in the 60s and 70s were they??? exactly wink wink gt500 and cobra
maybe not supercharged but look at the way the muscle cars are built up, supercharger, all ford did was help out the muscle buyer, either way a muscle car is made from 1960-70s, so these new gt500s and cobras are just decendants of the muscle cars which is why they are concidered one, a viper, wasnt made before the 80s so its not a muscle car in anyway what so ever, its a nicely tuned sports car. but not fast enough to be a super car or old enough to be muscle

um, your forgetting that you could get a shelby gt350 w/a paxton supercharger way back in the late 1960's. Muscle cars weren't v10's back in the sixties either cobra's and gt500's are undoubtedly muscle cars .
the gt500 is anything but a discrace to the original low 12's at a 120+mph on stock tires and mid11's in the 1/4 mile on drag radials. oh yeah it helps when you've got 428 cubes and dual 4barrel carbs to help make naturally aspirated horsepower Shelby only rated them at 335 hp for insurance purposes of course they made more power than that and if i'm correct they were a bit of a let down compared to their counterparts at gm and mopar performance wise.

the viper is a mixture of a muscle car and a supercar its heritage and looks are based on the shelby cobra because carrol shelby designed it. and besides just because it has a v10 doesnt mean its not muscle.. because technically musclecars werent supercharged in the 60s and 70s were they??? exactly wink wink gt500 and cobra

maybe not supercharged but look at the way the muscle cars are built up, supercharger, all ford did was help out the muscle buyer, either way a muscle car is made from 1960-70s, so these new gt500s and cobras are just decendants of the muscle cars which is why they are concidered one, a viper, wasnt made before the 80s so its not a muscle car in anyway what so ever, its a nicely tuned sports car. but not fast enough to be a super car or old enough to be muscle

umm ok i agreed up until your last statment.. how is the viper not fast enough to be a supercar.. if the nissan GTr and zo6 vette are supercars then the viper is a fukibng megacar.. it can do 0-60 in 3.4 and top over 200 and its N/A thats pretty super to me

If I took my Audi S4 back in time to the 60's-70's. I'd be whipping the crap out of ALL of those muscle cars.
Back then, muscle cars had like 300ft tq and like 150hp.

i hope your joking about the 150hp and 300ft lbs because if your not you just made yourself look like a complete idiot. but just in case you weren't joking theirs the 426hemi, fords 427 chevys 427, all were rated at 425hp and were actually making well over 500hp and then some and thats just 1 from each auto maker. pretty much every v8 made in the 60's and 70's made way more power then your s4.

AWD V12 turboed cars that struggle 2 put down alittle over 600HP n cant be modded cuz the block n crank will break under so much preasure that are beaten by $30K 400BHP Evos, Ford's GT puts down 550HP with a V8, Chevy puts down 600+HP with their LS9, a V8. over engineered? i think not. more luxuriouse? nope, dam things look like Marvin the martian will open the door to get out of 1. Euro cars = CRAP!!! look at the SHO vs Audi and any other euro car. quality and performance is higher for the SHO!

um, your forgetting that you could get a shelby gt350 w/a paxton supercharger way back in the late 1960's. Muscle cars weren't v10's back in the sixties either cobra's and gt500's are undoubtedly muscle cars .

the gt500 is anything but a discrace to the original low 12's at a 120+mph on stock tires and mid11's in the 1/4 mile on drag radials. oh yeah it helps when you've got 428 cubes and dual 4barrel carbs to help make naturally aspirated horsepower Shelby only rated them at 335 hp for insurance purposes of course they made more power than that and if i'm correct they were a bit of a let down compared to their counterparts at gm and mopar performance wise.

@shadeybeast If your talking about the late 60's gt500(which i think you are) you have been uninformed.....the late 60's gt500 was a high 13 sec/low 14 sec car......the 2010-2011 gt500 is the car the runs low 12's/high 11's
