For this skit. It's from some Japanese show. But in a technical sense of the actual program Vocaloid, Meiko and Kaito are the first generation of the program. Technically, yes they could be considered the parents to all the other Vocaloid programs; however, fan base has portrayed the entire Vocaloid crew as kind of like a huge weird extended family with oldest to youngest being Meiko, Luka, Kaito, Miku, Rin & Len.

@steeljawX If you mean in Japan, then yes, Meiko was the first Vocaloid, and Kaito came out a while later. However, if you don't mean in just Japan, then the very first Vocaloids were Leon and Lola, who were created by Zero-G, and then Miriam, who was also created by Zero-G, came next, then Meiko, and last Kaito, then Sweet Ann was the first Vocaloid2. So Leon and Lola would be more like the parents than Meiko and Kaito, and I guess Miriam could be the "auntie" or something. *Shrug*

@MsNintendork3 Well I was referring to the Vocaloid basis as in the characters as well. I have yet to see a Leon, Lola, or Miriam character. I know that they were the very first of the entire Vocaloid program, but in the sense of MMD Characters and fanimations go, those three have yet to be born. It makes me think that we Americans should pick up on such an idea.
