  • Did u stop at the best city in South Dakota? Rapid City? Best place in the world, sucks now I live in shitty ass Memphis.

  • @rbkidd66 Oh Yeah, we drove through Rapid City a couple times and stopped at a couple places to eat and shop. Great City!

  • the crazy horse monument and mount rushmore looked much better before they were hacked up.

  • Geesh! I was there 12 years ago and it looks like they haven't made much progress. What a shame.

  • @cblountt Yeah the progress is real slow because they just don't have the funding (sadly) and rely only on donations from the public and the entrance fees to the Memorial,

  • This video really touched me...great music choice and video footage...I think if I had a choice between seeing Rushmore or Crazy horse I would choose Crazy horse...it has the spirit! I am happy they got as far as they did:)

  • @seahue Glad you liked it David! It was nice to visit Crazy Horse. I really didn't know what to expect becaue I hadn't looked into it before going on the trip like I did Mount Rushmore. I'm glad I didn't pass it up and if your in the area you should visit both Memorial's since they aren't to far apart :-)

  • Another great video my friend. Can't wait as Crazy Horse Monument is my next stop after Mount Rushmore. Great now I am really excited about my trip this weekend.

Thank you as always. Hope to share more travel experiences with you. Extremely informative on both your latest videos.

  • @MrMichaelmackenzie Thanks! I'm glad your enjoying the videos and they are giving you some insight to what you can look forward to on your trip. Look forward to seeing some videos of your trip also... Have a Great time!

  • Thats a great memorial for the American Indians..Its a pity that there are no extra funding to complete it..But its such a spectacular place and the scenary looks awesome..Your info and video was very useful for anyone who wants to visit this place..Your videos are always wonderful to watch Chris..Very beautiful music too.. All the very best to you !!!

  • @lmmsl Thank You very much menu for the nice comments and for your visits :-) Who knows what will happen in the future with funding for this memorial? It would be nice if they would get more help to finish it. It was still a very nice experience though to see it like it is :-)

  • Beautiful. I really feel badly for the Native American Indians. I wish funding for this could be provided by the federal government (but I know there's not any ... ugh). We sure owe those tribes who took care of this great land before "we" arrived. You really saw fantastic places during this trip. Thx for sharing!

  • @KJ4TUG It is a shame that funding can't be found to use on this memorial. It has such great meaning and will be so awesome once it's finished to see and for the Americna Indians themselves.. Appreciate you stopping by :-) more to come from the trip..

  • @KJ4TUG The native americans have rejected federal funding. They also complained about mt rushmore being carved out on their "land". They don't, however, seem to have a problem destroying a rock Crazy Horse died trying to protect. They make no damn sense

  • @justinb04fuckyou its a fucking rock, how much damage can you do to an inert object? as long as the surrounding area is stabilized, there cant be any real damage.

  • WOW!! What a beautiful peaceful place... Thank you so much for sharing this with us! As always another great video!! Hug!!

  • @NaturesFairy Thanks for stopping by :-) It was very peaceful there and we enjoyed it very much. Glad you enjoyed!

  • Hi Chris , I watched this earlier today with my family and I was Telling Steve , Jack from here in CT and Sandy my sister and her three kids Zoe, Cameron and Ethan from England about how you always post to my vids and that I hold you in high regard , They all watched it one by one on my Galaxy Tab and though it was as interesting as I do now watching it at home , Thanks for another look at a place I hope to visit . :o)

  • @uncledave10 Thank You Dave for showing your family my video :-) I'm glad you all enjoyed it! It is really going to be something to see when this is all done. I hope it is sometime in my lifetime because I would love to go back and see it complete. I appreciate your visit and kind words my Friend..

  • Thanks for posting. I hope to visit there one day.

  • @kycruisecrazy Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

  • That is awesome place and great video! Unfortunately the history wasn't kind to the native people...I always like to learn more about history of these people anywhere I go, be it here or in Canada...They have great artists, sculptors, painters and we have nice exhibitions here in NJ in "Grounds for Sculpture" park of these people. I have to make a video on this someday. Thank you Chris for sharing your beautiful experiences. :)

  • @my35Xvision It was great to see for sure! Glad you enjoyed it.. The Museum here was fantastic to see and the gift shop had so many nice things made by the Native American Indians. It is great that they have this Memorial for them and I look forward to seeing a video from you about "Grounds for Sculpture". Thanks for your visit :-)
