  • U killed it dude... good job, keep it up =))))

  • Well, I've kind of neglected this language for the past year, but my mom just told me that she wants to go to Georgia because her grandma was from there and she has always want to see the town where she lived. So now I'm gonna start learning again cause I wanna take her there! And good thing I'm learning Russian cause we're gonna go there too. :)

  • pativsacemi kacia dzmao ყ uchirs mara araushavs :D:D

  • coool man go on .......

  • can you explain what do you mean by boot camp?

  • holly shit he actually speaks georgian

  • Is boot camp like a training course where you only speak Georgian... that being in America as well???? If that's the case that's incredible! :D Is that the case bro?

  • @SebastienLoong boot camp is intense language training

  • @laoshu505000 ...oh.... so not necessarily taking place in a particular form, but as a general thing.... in your case a personal self-directed training?

  • @SebastienLoong Yea, it's just self directed training

  • @laoshu505000 Oh wow! :D You really a great genius.... you soak up languages like a sponge soaks up water.... you know exactly how to go about learning languages.... and within weeks or months you can already make conversations in them, you're a legend master! :D

Oh, and master.... I have a few grammar books.... but because they're not in the format of 'learning in context', it takes me ages to memorize all those verbs and conjugations, would you have any memorizing tips you'd recommend?

  • @SebastienLoong You just have to practice a whoooole lot, by making up sentences with those constructions you've learned. After you do that, you gotta go try them out on a native speaker so that it can stick well.

  • @laoshu505000 Bless you for your advice, master :) I understand... it's really thinking outside the box, in many aspects. :D

Bless a Master like you for always coming to our level with such advice :D I understand you must be a busy person :)

Bless you :D

  • @SebastienLoong haha, why you keep calling me master? No need for that man

  • @laoshu505000 Giving credit where it's due is simply a duty of mine :D

  • @laoshu505000 Master Please tell me the secret how do you learn all these languages by yourself I want to learn something like french how do you do it?

  • Good Job! Greetings from Georgia

  • Nice work if you really learned it. One of the most difficult languages on this planet.

  • nice very nice! yochag egre gaagrdzele!;)

  • i think he is reading from monitor :)

  • georgian is very difficult, he must be hardworking, as he has studied to speak like this without a teacher. His articulation is good too, slight accent doesn't matter, may be bc there are similar sounds in his native language.

"magram" is formal, "mara" is regional, mostly spoken in the west part of georgia.

as to slavic accent, it is not true, bc georgian intonation is quite different, this must be influence of his native language.

  • Hi friend GOOD LUCK so you speak several languages so I speak only 12 several languages.

  • Hi, man! You are genius! I am Georgian. My Skype is geo-canada. Add me, and we can speak Georgian.

    Best wishes!

    Geogre

  • nice very nice!

  • NICELY DUBBED

  • i never knew what georgian sounded like. to me, it sounds like an indo iranian language spoken in a slavic accent. thanks for posting this!

  • Slavic accent hahaha u probably have not met many Georgians Georgian has nothing to do with Slavic nor Iranian

its old Sumerian language not related to anything it is true it has few iranian Russsian words but thats only in Slang

  • Hey, that's good, I can understand you just fine. Normally in conversation people say "mara" and not "magram", and at ~3:15 you can say "vpikrob rom" without the word before it.

  • dzestavelirustalibegramagridrazasuvabekalakurashvillisakartsbilisivelosartuli

  • amazing...

  • Dude. You have an _astounding_ affinity for languages -- you're the BEST advertisement for this "Boot Camp" I've ever seen!!!

I'll collect my jaw from the floor, now 8-O

  • why is it so out of synch with the video?

  • So that is it. You're left handed which means that you're right brain which means that you can learn languages easier than we normal humans can. I was trying to figure it out. Did you notice that most of the language learners who know alot of languages on Youtube are lefthanded included Professor Arguelles.

  • As a matter of fact I did notice that. I forgot about that belief though..hhahaa..

Don't let that discourage you aren't left handed.

  • I'm a polyglot but I'm right handed. But my left hand can still whip up a storm on the piano.

  • I don't know if I believe in that left hand right hand stuff though.

  • @zocurtis

That's an interesting finding, seeing as language processing is controlled largely by the left cerebral hemisphere, which controls the right side of the body. It makes sense that lefthandedness would be more common among engineers and artists, for example, because the right side of the brain is more responsible for the processing of visual-spatial information, but there's no reason why it would be more common among polyglots.

  • @spamanna Maybe you're right but I'm just saying lol!

  • @zocurtis Ahhhh so that's what it is!!!! :)

  • Your language skills are impressive, but I assume you didn't understand my question in Georgian, right?

What I asked was when and how did you first learn of Georgian language.

I found out about this video from the Language Learning Forum and left a dictionary suggestion and a comment there too.

  • I figured that's what it was you've asked. That's why I replied with January because that's when I started learning.

I've posted the resources I've been using for the Georgian language as well. Georgian is really tough so I'm learning at a slow pace now. I will continue to work hard though.

  • Good job!

  • Started in January also.

  • DUDE you should get a job with the new world order!!!

  • looooooooooooooooooooooool

  • lollolol deep

  • gramatikashi 4 minusit! :))

  • Amazing. You learn fast. I as a Georgian am pretty impressed. Nice use of open mind.

  • Dude go get a job with the FBI .....

  • what's with the cat in the video? lol
