  • gorgeous composition. very clean guitar, piano, and voice work. well rehearsed. new life was breathed into this ancient and exquisite poem. the air of intimacy and mystery were well expressed, and the messages carried through, with respect and grace. thanks

  • It is princess Mandarava one of the primary people in the foundation of Vajrayana. Princess Mandarava was an Indian princess who was also a disciple of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava. There is a good book about her called The Lives and Liberation of Princess Mandarava: The Indian Consort of Padmasambhava translated by Sangye Khandor and Lama Chonam. This painting itself is from the tantric murals at Tsogyelgar where t.k. teaches. - these are exquisite 10 foot tall by 60 foot long.
