@ApogeeBeats Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed the combination. You may also enjoy the video I made for this song. It's on this same channel, under the title: "Mellow music excursion". Good luck.
I really started to space out while listening to this, which tells me it's really really good. Thanks for the music!!! that red doll is just hanging on there on the side of the keyboard, for dear life! Great tunes, interpretation.
@MTWalker12 Glad this song was therapeutic. Just don't operate heavy machinery while listening. Thank you. My "Extraterrestrial Mood Music" song is also kind of spacey if you're in the mood. This message is starting to sound like an Amazon.com recommendation doesn't it? If you like this, then you may also like ...... :D
It's like comparing a BMW and a Honda. Both are great, it's a matter of budget. IMHO, the yamaha YPG is the best 88 keyboard you can get for around $900 new. But if you can stretch your budget substantially more then Roland, Yamaha (Motif) and Korg have great high end keyboards. There are strong defenders of all the brands as well as strong opposers to all the brands. Choose what you personally like.
How much of the backing was "Live" woth your fantom ? or was it a sequenced backing. I have a fantom, but haven't looked too much at the use of live drums etc. Was your bass line part of an arpeggio style ?
All performances are "Live" (continuous). Backing was via existing Fantom rhythm presets with MFX tweaked via the layer/split menu. Bass line is an arpeggio style. I've tapped deeper into the Fantom arpeggio presets in my "Human - Extra Mellow version #2" where there's a double arpeggio. My left hand is playing arpeggio on top of the built in arpeggio there so it sounds pretty rich. The next level is to use the sequencer to create more customized beats and rhythms beyond the base presets.
Thanks QMP. That makes me feel good that I have something I can share for enjoyment, like you do with your world photos. I appreciate the feedback. Be well.
Really is amazing how you blended those. Don't usually see so much creativity mixed with so much skill. Really nice.
