The second Angel...and shinjis mother yuki ikari.

She is a combination of this two parts: Lilith and Yuki.

That´s why Shinji say´s in one scene in the series that she looked like a mother for him while she was cleaning the floor.

That´s the soul, the Body can die, but the soul can evrytime be put into a new rei clone body.
