@TheCaptainCrack Yeah, Slipknot are more popular, but Machine Head IMO, but they're both different, 5FDP is Slipknot but better, (listen to the riffs, the vocal style etc.). Slipknot are pretty good, but their main role in Metal is as a 'crossover' band, young kids listen to them, find elements they recognise and like, become fans, discover other bands that have elements of Slipknot and etc etc. A metaphor of this would be Metal =Door with many keyholes, Slipknot = one of the keys :)
