The Aesthetic was very much his own with a sophistication of cleaner lines in terms of the jackets which is very much chanels signiture but by no means is only done by chanel alone. loved the cut outs and play with texture and volume. bravo!

1. Some do, some don't. That's the honest truth. To say that all of the models are healthy would be a lie. I'm sure a lot of them are, but it's more difficult for some older models to keep the weight off.

2. Many people WEAR it. They wouldn't usually WEAR an entire outfit of Louis Vuitton, but they might take a piece--a jacket, a dress--and work it into their wardrobe. People in the fashion industry WEAR it all the time.

Marc pretty much copies ideas from other fashion houses and sells them as his own. Never been a fan of his clothes, or rather his "interpretation" of what is current. If I want originality I turn to YSL, Prada, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Lanvin and so many others.

Not too big on some of these profiles. They look frumpy and clownish Some of them look simply like Vagina Tents. I thought half of the models were pregnant. Additionally the coat over the panties look is hard to take seriously.  The collection looks like a combination of 1960s pregnant Parisian housewife and Lil' Kim high-end-hooker belle du jour. Sorry to say but over all I think it's a weak effort by Marc Jacobs.

What an amazing show. If ever there was going to be a collection to put Louis Vuitton on the map as a haute couture clothing house, it would be this. I am first and foremost a lover of clothing, what makes the body beautiful, and accessories second....so I was dismayed that I didn't get a significant look at the garments.
