@starlionblue Not only did they cancel it, but they left us with an atrocious movie which was their only shot of possibly getting DLM back on. I wish they stuck with the original director. The one who directed that shit excuse of a movie didn't know what the fuck he was doing, and Ellen Muth even agrees.

I shouldn't complain though. I'm so happy that Dead Like Me even exists. Fuck this show is great.

@paulbhensley It stopped because they didn't have enough viewers. They probably just fucked up on promoting the show. They probably a teaser or two for the Pilot episode and that's it. They should have had their actors go on talkshows or have the show's logo and promotional shots stamped on billboards, but they didn't. I think this show could have and would have went on for years, had more people known about it.

Dead Like Me is/was an MGM production and originally on SHO. It was a Bryan Fuller masterpiece! His other show dealing with death is/was Pushing Daisies..ABC. Now..this makes two of THE BEST shows ever..discontinued by the networks!

Both shows are quirky..original..funny & intelligent. Well thought and produced until the powers that be made their decisions. Not the preferred crime or reality show..the masses who responded to Nielson TV ratings sealed both show's fate. A big dissapointment!
