  • Yup, once you learn to fly this plane right theres not much you can't do in FSX. I moved straight from this plane to the Accu-sim planes made by A2A and learning how to fly the H-1 helped immensely. I remember the first couple times I flew, I blew the engine, and that dull thump you hear at 4:32 still freaks me out.

  • ok i fly this plane all the time i done the transcontinental flight with it on FSX. How you get this thing to stay in the air without oil over heat or the engine blowing up, is to not run the engine full throttle this isint a gas and go plane.. You run it at 40 manifold pressure, and about 75 % mixture and 75% RPM and it will go where ever you want it too go. DONT RUN FULL THROTTLE!!

  • once you're at a safe altitude after take off, reduce throttle a little and rpm, and keep up the airspeed, if you manage the airspeed and power settings right, you shouldn't have much trouble with temps, unless you're trying to push it. Also watch the mixture, don't have it too lean or the engine will run hot.

  • i have some gauges missing in my plane and when i open my cockpit the metal strips move but the glass stays there ant suggestions but i love the plane over all

  • How do you keep the oil cool ? my eng oil keeps over heating causing a huge flame that blows back to the cock pit and then the eng dies ...?????/

  • well I have this problem as well. I guess the only thing to do is decrease throttle, but it wont fly forever, so I mostly take a little spin with the plane around the airfield :)

  • @Supduplemup Read the manual! lol Really its simple though. There is a lever to the right, above the flaps lever. You need to takeoff and when your in the air change the prop pitch using that lever, to 75%. 65% above 9,000 ft. This will cut back on RPM and increase airflow, allowing the plane to reach its top speed. This will keep the engine cool. Shes an old bird, so almost everything is manual, but she flies like a dream.

  • @ICDWILL117

yeah thanks now I knew though.

But its not clear, should I decrease rpm above 9000 feet or before?

  • @Supduplemup If your below 9000 keep it at 75%. Once you go above 9000, proceed to to take it down to 65%.

  • Nice...fast take off , HQ , worth the 5 mins .

  • Thanks! I tried to make it worth every second :)

  • at 4:10 how come the right wing didnt hit the hangar gate!! nice controlling at the end btw

  • I really don't know why heh, I guess it was close but didn't hit :D

I hope you liked the video, and thanks for the compliments!

  • What kind of system do you use?
