I don't know how to reply to that, you've simply completely missed the point of the song! If you listen to the lyrics, they aren't depressing, they are moving, touching and emotional. Simply because the song has been performed acoustically and with talent (and the occasional minor chord progression) doesn't mean that the song is depressing. It is a beautiful song that cannot be summed up in any 1 word.
