I forgot how annoying, sulky and childish Damon was being then. But, when he was dying all is forgotten by Stefan and Elena and us viewers. Please, I have a feeling in 3x14, Damon will get pissed and jealous as he is shown forcefully pushing Stefan and Elena seems pissed at him for controlling her and not respecting her wishes. Both are so stubborn and then it results in Damon doing something "stupid", resulting in him begging for her forgiveness and trying to prove himself to her again.

@PianoGirl091 you are RIGHT because Daniel who plays Elijah said in 3 articles before that he and Elena have a type of spiritual connection more than just a physical kind of lust etc. They have a deeper connection and he looks at her like a delicate flower in a desert..respecting her. Daniel Gillies is AMAZING for that. The other cast never put it in that way.
