This is a great song!The lyrics take me back to a time and place that was so special in my life. That extra special person blew my mind and stole my heart back then. Eventhough we've moved on, truth be told, he still has my heart. In my mind, it was true love and I'll always be his lady. The right love at the wrong time. Even now, when we by chance see each other, we both know that what we had was true. I would rather have had it and lost it than not to have had it all.

Yeah I remember when BET used to show these type of classy r&b videos, now it's nothing but half dressed women on every video bopping or doing whatever to the person who's singing, which will be followed by one of those sleezy "come on over 1-800 kinna commercials" .Man! what happenned to just good music! It's like we will never get that time back, when things were still left to the imagination, now its just raw and all out there and anything goes.

I miss Videosoul with Donnie and Sherri...just good r&b music and laid back vibe...now BET tries too hard to compete with mtv with Planet Groove and then 106 and Park in particular. Just not like it used to be.

And there are some singers out there still doing soul music, but they don't get the kind of play they used to and they don't have a mainstream show to do it on.

Glenn Jones is a very underrated artist in my opinion.  They don't make music like this anymore, rarely do they sing about companionship, friendship, and love anymore with a woman. Back in the day that's all that used to be on the radio, now it's non-existent.
