  • wow...foriegners sing in chinese.......

    Good job....:)

  • its so good

  • I am a pure chinese born in the Philippines. For a chinese mestisa ( half filipino, half chinese), she sings this song very well and can truly appreciate the effort she put to sing this song.. Nobody can sing the way Teresa Teng sings this song. TT is just unique and the best chinese singer of her time.

  • @Contrerasrobert1 I agree, nobody beats Teresa Teng, my favorite singer of all time. The way she sang this song was not so good, her pronunciation is swinging.

  • I'm a big fan of Kim Chui but I think she mispronounce some words in that song.

  • LOVE IT ..

  • i love you mom miss you

  • ni hao..xie xie for the lyrics !!

  • búyòngxiè..... ohm wo ai ni to all who love kim

  • 的 'De' is pronounced as 'di' in songs...

  • yaaaaaaaaaaay :D am ganna start learning this song!! I love it soo much <3 it's ganna be a challenge since i dont speak any form of an asian language, but this is worth starting ^^

  • have been looking for the lyric for quite some time, tQ aprilcute08

  • Well, yes, the lyrics are correct, but the spelling of the words isn't.

'Di' is supposed to be 'de'

'Ye' is supposed to be 'yue'

    I know this because my cousin is from a Chinese school. (;

    Thank you. (:

  • Di for 的 is a variant pronunciation look for the Teresa Teng version

it has been popularized by teresa teng

  • Even though she probability speaks Mandarin fluently she has a strong Southern Chinese accent. I still like the song though。

  • grt i love it ^^

  • thank u.. ^^

  • i love this song...GO KIMERALD!!!!!

  • Sorry. One last comment.

When I heard this I was confused; the moon changes so would they be saying that their love changes like the moon? All I could figure out is this song is sung on a full moon so that when they say "the moon represents my heart" what they mean is they have a full heart, like the full moon.

That's what I understood from it, anyways. Any other interpretations?

  • well, i understood it like......

ummm.. like there's a guy sking how much she likes him.. and then the gurl said that the moon represents my heart, like what ur interpretation isz.. xD

  • heart and love are the same in mandarin

    anyway,,for me,,

the heart(love ) is like the moon because what ever phase the moon is or wherever it is in the night sky,, the person still love you as the moon is still in the sky,,

i hope you got the idea somehow,, hehehehe

  • Remember when Romeo met Juliet at her house. He swear his love for Juliet to the moon so I guess people used to use the moon to represent their love...

  • When you think about it, the moon doesn't really change shape. That's how it is seen on earth, but if they are above everything, then they are whole.

  • With one soft kiss

    You move my heart.

The times when we were close

Make me miss you until now.

You ask me how deep my love is

    How much I love you?

    You may go and think

    You may go and look.

But the moon represents my heart.

There it is in a nutshell with some verses repeating after that. I fixed it so it made more sense in English so please allow me some flexibility for that.

  • Here's a rough translation of the lyrics. Please don't yell at me if they're a bit wrong: You ask me how deep my love is How much I love you? My affection is real. My love is real. The moon represents my heart. You ask me how deep my love is How much I love you? My affection does not change. My love is not different. The moon represents my heart. ...(continued next post)
