yes, it's a mournful thing. but the dude in the tie lies. exxon is resisting payment of punitive damages. all "restitution" (for actual losses) has been paid. the folks are still fighting to recover, yes. on the ground and at sea. but in court it is about punishment, not recovery.
All those involved in the clean up are now dead!
