@jdb988 13WTBOS had no energy whatsoever. No One is one of the best songs they have, definitely. But the rest of the album is long and droning and has no real power behind it. To be honest it bores the shit out of me. Year Of The Spider had a driving force behind almost every song and it made you wanna bang your head and go nuts.

@jdb988 13 Ways was hands-down their best album. The production was incredible. You almost need to put on a good pair of headphones to really appreciate all the work that went into that album.

@samschirmer 13 Ways was produced largely by Cold themself and Adam Kasper. Think Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, R.E.M., Foo Fighters. Really unique sounding bands. And 13 Ways is an incredibly unique sounding album.

YOTS was produced by Howard Benson. Think Hoobastank, Three Days Grace, later Papa Roach. All of those bands sound commercial and studio. That isn't strictly bad, but you can tell Cold lost a lot of their unique sound with that album and they just didn't stand out.
