  • I miss you Teresa Teng sleep well I hope you know how many people love you even after death.

  • Fabulous! and great movie, I love it!

  • @Molkitalanders Thank you for the kind comment. Hope you'll become a fan of Teresa Teng, as well. Have a nice week. ^_^

  • You have the best movie clips to go with TT's songs. Brilliant! I love that your translations are crisp and placed discreetly to allow us to enjoy the music and movie. Well done!

  • @thairose1 Thank you very much for your good words. This kind of feedback makes me very happy and gives me motivation to do more videos. ^_^ Be blessed and happy, my friend.

  • Teisuka-san, such a great song. I think you probably know more Teresa's songs more than I do : ) Happy New Year! : ) - mbf

  • @musicboxforever Thank you for your compliment. I don't know so much of her songs yet, I am a quite new fan. I find new things all the time, and it makes life interesting. ^_^ Happy new year, my friend, and thank you very much for the subscription. I really appreciate that.

  • Ah, another Ci Poetry (詞) by Lee Yu. Ha ha, this one is also my favorite!

Although there's a time gap of thousand years between Lee and Teng, I often feel Lee is the best writer to write lyrics for Teresa Teng!

  • @ZiyaoM Well said, Tzuyao. They found each other from far behind the time... It is fabulous! And isn't it amazing that you can find your ancient favorite poems from YouTube? ^_^ By the way, recently I have read a lot of Chinese poetry. Besides Li (Lee) Yu, I just read a big collection of Li Bai (327 pages). Actually I have to thank YOU, my scholar friend, because you got me interested more in Chinese poetry. Yeah, really! We had a great discussion on email last spring, do you remember? ^_^

  • @teiska123 It's my pleasure to introduce Chinese poetry to you, my friend. I remember our discussion among those topics of literature and history, and we will continue the discussion, won't we? ;)

  • @ZiyaoM Sure! I hope that we will continue our discussion about Chinese poetry and things like that. I also hope that you can read "Kalevala", the national epic of Finland (in Chinese language, of course, haha). Then we can talk a little bit about Finnish poetry as well. ^_^

  • @teiska123 Yes, I have read some parts of Kalevala already. I am very unfamiliar with epics, I do hope I can get more knowledge of this form of poetry. ;)

  • I respect the great job you have done. An ancient Chinese poem with a historical movie has a strong appeal. I never expected to learn Chinese literaure from Youtube before I met you. You must have had a terrible time translating this. Like Michiko-san, I will listen to this song again and again until I understand the deep meaning of the lyrics. Thank you.

    Goemon

  • @asnar0365 Ohayo, Goemon-san. Douitashimashite! Thank you for your kind words, my friend. They are very encouraging and makes me happy at the moment. Arigato! Yes, it was a hard task to translate this ancient poem, but I did my best. This is not exactly word-for-word translation but dynamic free translation. I wanted to translate an idea and thoughts and also "transfer" them into another language. Again, arigato, Goemon-san. I wish you a nice week. Stay safe and be blessed.

so very much exciting and enjoyable. Thanks and pls continue your good work, how about something from Lust, Caution - Ang Lee.

  • @meesimy You're welcome, and thank you for watching and making your good comment. I really appreciate that. Someday I am going to use clips from the film 'Lust, Caution' on my coming video. It's an excellent movie, and I have it on DVD. Thank you for the very good idea! ^_^ I wish you a nice week. Greetings from very cold and snowy Finland, ~Teisuka.

  • Your welcome and I can't wait to see the preview of Grandmasters. Have a good week.

  • Beautiful. I have House Of Flying Daggers on DVD and Ziyi Zhang is amazing.

  • @Digatone Thank you very much for your comment, Patrick. Yes, Ziyi Zhang is amazing and Teresa Teng is Goddess! And very soon we can see Ziyi Zhang on her new film 一代宗師 (The Grand Master), directed by Wong Kar-wai. Ah, how I've been waited for this film!!! ^_^ Have a nice new week, my friend.

  • @wendylammy Dear Wendy, thank you very much for your heartfelt comment. • Beautiful work all around. Thank you SIR !

Ahh Teisuka, you started it, you've to finish it. THREE (?) down, NINE more to go in this series, GAR YAU !!!

  • @SuperSnile Thank YOU very much for your kind words, SIR. ^_^ Oh, you mean that I should upload all 12 songs from that album?! Wow, it would be very ambitious and challenging task! I have to think about it... Anyway, idea is very good. Thank you for that! ^_^ Have a nice new week, my friend. Stay safe and be blessed.

  • thank you very much for your sending me a friend invite . I would like to be your friend . I like Teresa Teng's songs very much. her voice is so sweet and soft .I think she is the best singer in the world .

  • @sunshinemoons You're welcome, and thank you for accepting my invite. You're only my second YouTube friend from Mainland China. I agree with you: Teresa Teng is the best singer in the world. See you, and take care of yourself, my friend! ^_^

    ~Teisuka

  • Thanks so much for working on this wonderful song. To me this album was a statement by Teresa that she was so much more than a pop singer. Light Exquisite Feeling, 1983 was all Teresa. She had travelled so far from that little girl in Taiwan around the world, pleasing everyone but probably still not in complete control of her talents or destiny. Here she took control and created the most beautiful vision... a true Goddess... a gift to us all. TTforever!

  • @mattmollysdad You're welcome, and thank you for the very good comment, David. I agree with you, this album shows that Teresa Teng is a timeless Goddess, and much more than 'only' pop singer. I am very sure that her musical legacy will live as long as there is life on planet Earth. ^_^ I wish you a great new week, my friend. Take care, and see you again.

  • Teisuka, Nice song by TT & nice video by YOU ! It is really a great job !! Inside your preface; You seem to know a lot of Chinese history. Every thing of the song & video are all in details introducing to us !! Super 5 Stars job ! Thank you so much for posting !!!!

  • @WinstonHF Mister Winston, I think that this kind of feedback is best I can get! ^_^ Yes, I am very interested in Chinese culture, especially poetry and philosophy. I really appreciate this great old culture, as well as I always appreciate your encouraging words. Thank you, my friend! Again, I wish you a wonderful vacation in Hong Kong. Be blessed!

  • Hi Teisuka, thank you for sharing this beautiful clip. This movie contains many beautiful sceneries and vibrant colours. You've done a great job editing it and matching it with Teresa's song. -^^- Meilan

  • @meilanfa Hi Meilan. You're welcome, and thank you very much for your kind comment. I wish you a nice new week in Canada. ^_^

  • Thank you for sending me your videos featuring the divine Teresa Teng. It was a great idea to combine this, one of Teresa's finest songs and performances, with clips from the stunningly beautiful film featuring the lovely Zhang Ziyi. These images could only be bettered by images of the breathtakingly beautiful Teresa Teng herself of course. Many thanks for letting me see your work and hear once again the supreme artistry of the matchless Teresa Teng.

  • @ttengfan You're welcome. Thank you for watching as well as your nice comment. I sent you a friend invite. The music of Teresa Teng will live forever. It's completely timeless art and suitable for all people in the East and West.! :)

  • Hi Teisuka, Thank you, the music is really very pretty and the images are sublimes. They are two stars the most preferred for me in the cinema hongkongais. Pat (Seventies Guitarist)

  • @ToHuyenLinh You're welcome, Pat. Thank you for watching and making your nice comment. I can see that we have a similar taste in films! ^_^

  • Well done, I love that movie, love that drum dance in the early part of the movie. You had done a great job on editing this one; We are all proud of you and more please, may be I request one someday....Ha ha ha........

  • @bernardf372 Thank you very much for your kind words. I am just editor and I love to do this 'job', when I have time. Making this video (with translation) took the time to more than 10 hours. Yeah, I also love that drum dance scene but it wasn't suitable on this video (song). Too bad. Oh, you have some request, too? Perhaps Jackie Chan on the video, eh...? Hahaha! Have a great weekend, my friend. ^_^

  • classic, everlasting, beautiful.

  • @watersings Well said. That is what this song is, and that is what Teresa Teng is. ^_^ Thank you for the good comment.

  • Hieno video sinulta jälleen ja kaunis rauhallinen musiikillinen elämys. Olen todennäköisesti joskus nähnyt tämän elokuvan. Kiihkeä rakkauskohtaus on jotenkin tuttu. Jos sama filmi, niin tuo poitsu kuolee filmin lopussa jonkinlaisessa kaksintaistelussa, mikäli oikein muistan.

    Kiitos jälleen laulun sanojen suomennoksesta.

  • @PispalanPoika Kiitos mukavasta kommentista, Rami. Kyllä, kuulostaa siltä että olet nähnyt tämän elokuvan. Loppu on hyvin surullinen: sekä tyttö että poika kuolevat "taistelukentälle" kolmannen osapuolen toimesta. Kiinalaiset rakastavat suuria, surullisia tragedioita. Tunteellista ja sydämellistä kansaa. Rakastan heitä! ^_^ Hyvää viikonloppua sinulle.

  • You have done again nice video Teisuka...Sorrowful classic poem"The Lyrics" romantic beautiful melody and the film makes really good harmony, besides Teresa sang the song very emotionally and gorgeously.love it very much.

Thank you Teisuka for sharing the wonderful video with us.

  • @maki11able1 Thank you for watching and making your comment, Maki. Love to read your analytical feedback. ^_^ I wish you a wonderful weekend, my friend. Take care and stay warm. It's coming colder and colder in these days... My goodness, it's minus 15 C for now... Whoa! >_<

  • @teiska123

Oh,Come on Teisuka!!!.We are Finns, for myself no problem at all even temperature is -12℃ right now in Helsinki.

We are used to live under this kind of harsh weather in wintertime, right?moreover we have already a lot of snows toward Christmas.I think It's great that coming White Chrisymas.Yippee<3¤¤¤ I love this season.

  • @maki11able1 Alright, Maki... I agree with you. Surely, we are Finns but we're still human beings, too. Hahahaha! Poof, -12℃ is a warm weather, yet! But last winter when we had more than -30℃, it made me think: Do I live in 'The Ice Station Zebra'? My goodness! White Christmas is a good side of story. I love it too. Snow is not problem at all. ^_^

  • Mr. teiska this day.

    Wonderful animation was made.

The last scene is the highest. It is very passionate.

It matches it to Theresa's song very much.

    Thank you.

  • @KS6066 Konbamwa, Katsunori-san. Do itashimashite. Arigato! ^_^ Thank you very much for the kind words. You're right, grassland-scene is very passionate. I did my best to match it with music: this scene begins when music accelerates and changing more faster. ^_^ I wish you a nice weekend, my friend.

  • @wwwtips You're welcome, and thank you for watching. 淡淡幽情專輯 (Light Exquisite Feeling) is a timeless masterwork. It is amazing to think that these lyrics are more than thousand years old! Human heart has not changed...

  • Konichiwa, Teiska-san -^^-

Ahhh! Here is the song I requsted for! With a BIG bonus of a movie and stars that I really like! Zhang Ziyi is just gorgeus here, and Takeshi-san.. ahhh *faints* You put in that scene from the grassland?! WOW! Hehehe (-^_^-;) Ehh.. ahem*

Thank you so much also for translating the lyrics, Teiska-san.. it must have been a daunting task translating this poem! GREAT job ne.. sasuga Teiska-san dawa! -^^-

I'll listen to this again and again and again!

    Arigato and TC!

  • @AliceNine2008 Konbanwa, Michiko-chan. Douitashimashite! Thank you very much for your good feedback. I am very glad to hear you like it. Yeah, I remembered that Takeshi-san is one of your favourite actor. Grassland-scene? Oh yes, it was necessary on this video. Yeee-ha!! ^_^ Translating the lyrics was a daunting task, I agree with that. Only 5 lines but it took the time more than 5 hours! I am still trembling like an old dog... Hahaha. I wish you a wonderful weekend, Michiko-chan. Ittekimasuuu!
