  • Hi thanks for the info on the guitars, I built my first guitar this fall, and it took several weeks. It was a fun, educational experience, but you really do have to have all the right tools to be efficient as a luthier. Again, great music talent guys, and that was an added perk to know that you made those guitars.

    God bless,

    Todd Stumbo

  • Ask David if he is familiar with Crown Christian College. We have a lot of interaction with Bethel, they are a great school and seminary. Great chatting with you and God bless.

  • No. We live in Portland, OR. Our oldest daughter found Bethel because they had a strong art program and were a Christian college.

  • Great work Guys, I love your instrumental skills and great vocal harmonizing. More importantly I was glad to hear that the message of the song is coming from your heart. How much we need His mercy. Keep up the good work. Where are you guys from? Kudos from Northern Minnesota

  • Thank you. David - Portland, OR, John - Seattle, WA, Daniel - Vinita, OK. By the way, David's 2 daughters are attending Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.

  • Wow, sounds like you guys are as spread out as my family. I have 5 brothers and they extend as far east as Tennessee and as far west as California. One of my brothers owns a Christian Radio Station in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I'll have to forward this video to him. Do you guys have any thing on Cd? About myself, I was in the military for my first career and now I am almost finished with my ministry training. I am an avid guitar player, and an okay singer, but my wife is the jewel:0)

  • We don't have any CDs other than a recording that we did simultaneous to the video taping - thus it is a CD with those 14 songs, and no engineering. We might do something in the future

  • Well, keep up the good work. You guys are great together. I am hoping that someday my brothers and I will get together and do some recording. One more question, I can tell by the headstock that the 6 string acoustic is a Walden, good choice I might add, but I don't recognize the maker of the 12 string in your video, is that a Collings? Or Olson??? just curious. Take it easy, I'll try to post a video soon, so you know who is chatting on the other end.

    Blessings,

    T

  • @toddastumbo I thought that I had responded to you - but if not, here goes. The 12 string is a custom guitar that I built (hard to believe - I took a class to learn how to build guitars and the 6 strings that I am playing is the one built in that class - then my luthier sold me the walnut wood from his personal vault of a tree that he had harvested himself - it looks and sounds wonderful.
