It should be banned in schools, not home. If you ground you kid, and they disobey that order so you ground them again for disobeying your order that they are grounded, you fit the definition of insane. You are expecting something different to happen I'd you do the same thing over and over again. If it didn't work that past 10 times, it won't work on the 11th time. Ground the kid, if they disobey the same rule again, give them a spanking, but don't beat the shit out of them.
I couldn't help but notice there is a picture of someone slapping a kind across the head in the video. I don't think that spankings are abuse as long as a parent or guardian does it with the intent to just redden the bottom and get a point across, but it is abuse if they spank until bruises and welps appear and if they are striking a kid anywhere but their bottom.
