This is coming from the point of view of a two tour Iraq vet who got out of the army as a Sgt. Just to throw something out form a different perspective, that marine NCO was a battle field leader if he saw one of his marines engaging vehicles for no reason it was his job to tell him to stop, not to be pissed off about it and tell the story here. It was his duty to say dude dont do that. As for the rest of it, yeah shit happens, war is hell sorry nobody told you guys before we left.
3:31 - The operation was originally called "Operation Iraqi Liberation" (OIL), then they changed to "Operation Iraqi Freedom " (OIF). hahaha it's just me that find it really, really funny?
How many soldiers killed innocents? Seems like it was not only condoned but ordered and encouraged. American military seems to have a lot of idiots in charge giving orders to obedient soldiers. No wonder these campaigns have been complete fuck ups without any results besides destruction. Only thing going for them is their equipment and resources. There is no character backing p their efforts. Its a disgrace.

200 rounds from a Ma Duece? What, did he stop and reload?? There's only 100 rounds to a box of ammo, you fucking douche bag!! Another example of an over-exagerated story fed to a "awe-inspired" civilian public who knows little/nothing about the military.

And that incident was well within the use of deadly force. A speeding car racing toward a check point, where it is WELL KNOWN that suicide bombers hit check points (mainly because there are multiple targets there), the machine gunner did his job correctly.
Because most people don't want to know the truth about what's going in Iraq. To them it's better to be ignorant since most people supported the war and believed the lies.
I don't think it's that people prefer ignorance to truth. It's that none of this was ever even covered on mainstream news networks. People don't even know this meeting ever happened, so how could they search for it on youtube? Blame the media instead of just assuming that American's are apathetic or ignorant.
Agreed - corporate media and the profiteers of war are all too often, one and the same. Democracy only exists to the extent that an independent and unbiased media operates.

You can link as many .50 cal rounds as you want as long as the ammo box is large enough. You don't know shit about what went on.

More people are likely watching this. Youtube seems to be cooking its viewer counters - so I have been told. Just watch.

If anything, Youtube views tend to be higher than the actual number of viewers.
I think this is the kind of stories that a lot of Americans simply don't want to hear. They're afraid to believe them. :(
