Why do we get sentimental about cities? and fall in love with poems we create about concrete and streets made in the name of something someone else was doing in the name of God knows what? What is the purpose of that mournful sentimentality. Really strange. meanwhile, others are moving on and up, but I feel trapped in that mood sometimes. A song called Under the Bridge by the REd hot Chilli Peppers talks about it. "I drive through her streets cause she's my companion"There is obviously something
As to be expected a beautiful rendition,I know its Dublin but its about every family in every home in Ireland in the 50s and 60s. And history is repeating its self today.
Great to find another Bingo poem listed here. Very touching words and lovely music too...i really enjoy listening to Bingo, reminds me of my old grandad.....look forward to the next one...

The owl Libos. I was born in the very centre in an old tenement house (now The Liberty Market) that burned down in the early 60s.
