What's the need for a removable battery? Tell me. This thing lasts (if you use it practically) for two days. O

So, no flash support, no camera, no multitasking, no extra ports of any kind, no removable battery, no add-on storage, you have to pay for internet your already paying for, like you just said you have to activate from an actual computer, and of course little minigames that last a little more than a minute. Looks about PS2 level in terms of video graphics. I'm sorta struggling to see what benefit having one of these has, you cannot keep it in your pocket for starters, so you might say keep it in a bag or a backback, but then why would you choose one of these over a standard laptop which for $600 you can get with better specs. All these people talking about Flash being a "drawback," are stupid; Because:

1.) Apple gave Adobe a chance to make it happen, and they loafed around - until Apple finally said 'screw it, time's up,' and now they aren't allowed to do anything.

2.) HTML5 isn't new anymore, it's been developed for quite awhile, the majority of sites now use HTML5 for their content and media.

3.) ADOBE is the one losing business here (they even said so), not Apple.

Flash enabled us ALL to do a lot on the web that wasn't possible before it came out. I would go get an iPad right now if it had flash because it would enable me to have a smaller device right now as I lay in bed surfing the web. Truth be told even without flash or a need for the device I will still purchase one once it has a front and rear facing camera and 3G capabilities. That's because Apple makes an awesome product and I believe as a result companies will buckle and recode their video's

1.) Listen, genius, you're talking to a programmer. I program in everything from COBOL to C++. Flash isn't a programming language, it's a platform. ActionScript is a script (less than a programming language). Flash was great because it allowed for an input-interface between humans and computers. Now HTML5 does that, and better, with less resources. Watching a video online in HTML5 is similar to watching it on your own desktop due to the performance it's capable of.

I Don't have a problem with HTML 5 and for the reasons you have stated hopefully it will gain popularity.

But when you spend x amount of money on something, you don't expect something like flash to be omitted because of some power trip.
