I use tthe chroma keyer (when i can get away with)

but them puppets are mad.. they should be mandatory in all facepalm moments,

I don't know bout quality. I'm not sure my camera is set right. It seems to blur too much on movement. Not sure why. I have it at 30fps I think.

Anyway, I uploaded the vid w/o background so chroma key away if you want! hahahah

thanks. Um, the demon prob took a day. The old guy prob took two days. Foam with fleece fabric over that. I learned how from Geezer (Louis Paul) and a DVD from Blue Seal Puppets. They aren't built to be used a lot. Just for me.

the old guy is very large and hard to do. Heavy. And I didn't really secure him so his suit wasn't pulling down. It's so rigged. It will prob come unglued with a few more uses. hehe  Up close you'd see how poorly done they are. but not bad at this size.

hahahhaha Well, I made these puppets a while back but haven't used them much. So I thought a quick facepalm wouldn't take too long to do.

If you are going to do a puppet one, do it! Don't let these stop you.

The puppet idea has really been only that, but i keep telling myself that I'll get around to making some good puppets.

You can buy some cheap 1/2" foam and a few yards of fleece (buy cotton if you plan to color it or polyester if the color is okay already) and just make a small one like this demon. Not sure if the guy still has vids on building but he was on expert village. Louis Paul I think.
