I'm on season 4 right now and I feel like the 1st season was the best so far. In the first season he was much more calm, cool, and collected and it was like he always knew what to do. He was a pro at what he did. But as the other seasons have come around he's just been making dumb mistake after mistake. I'm still enjoying the show but I wish it was more like the first season.

@jim191185 I have to respectfully disagree. Breaking Bad was my fav show after seasons 1 and 2, but season 3 declined, and now it's barely above average. I just finished season 3 of Dexter, and already find it better than Breaking Bad, and WAY better than Walking Dead. This is only because Seasons 1-2 of Dexter are MASTERPIECES, imo at least. Not to bash breaking bad, or even Walking Dead, cus i still love both of them. Dexter, at least the first 2 seasons, is just infinitely better.

BB season 4 is better than both series 1 and 2, its like it changes from a drama to a thriller. dont give up on it lol. walking dead has become a little slow but thats that AMC are like, some slow moments but its all about the characters as opposed to a constant excitement and action plot

My friend said he wasn't a big fan until the later episodes, but I just haven't had time to see for myself. I might take ur advice and switch back to that before Dexter.
