Does it only have a landscape and portrait position or can the ball tilt at any angle? I want to use it for my Flip camcorder. Thanks

Yes the ball can tilt to horizontal and vertical. And a lot of other angles are possible.

Very good, I have used it at a few sporting events and for additional stabilization and it has worked well.
