The books get redundant after the third one. He uses the same phrase more than five times throughout the entire book, in every book. And there's a lot of beating around the bush. The whole "Can't see my hand in front of my own face." Is used so often it's almost funny. I like the series but it gets really annoying sometimes, I've literally skipped parts of the chapters because it's all recapping.

This is one of the best authors you can find. Joseph uses a sort of early English to tell the battles and training of Tom Ward. I think Last Apprentice movies would be totally AWESOME. Especially if they were amazing and well advertised, they could get a lot more people to notice the series. I think a book from Alice's point of view would be darker and more mysterious than Tom's point of view. Would it be all Bony Lizzie teaching Alice potions and spells or will she go out on quests and things?

Seriously, his books are the best. I've never enjoyed reading books, but i've actually ordered his last 3books on English which aint my main language. I mean, i'm so wanna have the movie done now and go watch it at midnight! :D

In my school we have something called Accelerated Reader where they number books to grades. In my school it says that the level is 4.5. That's 4th grade vocabulary. The story isn't original either. Stephenie Meyer just took a simple concept and directed it at teenage girls.

I have read every book of this series and instead of going throgh all the trouble with the spooks point of veiw books and alices books why not finish the series out and then have their books as like behind the lines or sequals i mean im still waiting for the covent of witches to come out.. so i beg to finish the series cuz im dying to know what tom chooses and if the choice is the right one.

Seriously, his books are the best. I've never enjoyed reading books, but i've actually ordered his last 3books on English which aint my main language. I mean, i'm so wanna have the movie done now and go watch it at midnight! :D

@HelpMyWii Twilight's story is retarded. Only smart mature people know that. Immature children can read it, too. In my school we have something called Accelerated Reader where they number books to grades. In my school it says that the level is 4.5. That's 4th grade vocabulary. The story isn't original either. Stephenie Meyer just took a simple concept and directed it at teenage girls.

Twilight is not an original story since it is almost exactly like the vampire diaries(i've read the books) and twilight is simply written even immature children can read it,the most difficult word in twilight is "nonchalantly" wich is mention like 20 times on the last book. stephanie meyers is not a real writer,she uses simply 5th grade lvl vocabulary and ripped off L.J smith's work.

@MrShawtyshorty I hope they do make movies but they'll have to be gory and actually creepy/scary my fear is that they'll dumb down all the horror and violence from the book in the film and it'll scar the series in my opinion.

on joseph delaney's blog he says the seventh book will be called the spook's nightmare. there will also be an eighth book which has no title yet and the ninth book will maybe be called the alice dean diaries!
